You go on HBO and they are promoting the rehearsal, you go on Hulu and it's the dropout, Paramount it's Nathan for you, it's a complete you can see everything monoculture

I think one of the issues is that many of the people who might have watched street fighter ironically this weekend are probably watching you can see everything unironically instead

Imposter syndrome is so silly, as long as you're not the worst person at your job then you belong there, and even then you're at least providing that one critical function for everyone else.

My favorite unexplainable "With/And" credit from this year is in The Audacity where for some reason in a stacked cast Simon Helberg got the "And" credit while Zach Galifianakis negotiated a "special guest star" credit despite appearing in every episode. Good job agents all around

Oh I'm sorry, am I the only person who overly scrutinizes "with" and "and" credits?

If you read enough auto translated viral tweets you'll realize that God was correct for punishing us for the tower of babel

auto-translate on social media will not bring us closer together it will make us hate each other in novel, at times thrilling ways as a species

i know a lot of people have chosen to leave the poison swamp that inflicts constant tick damage but since the Plague Baron stopped casting Rain of Putrefaction so often its gotten way better. plus all of the important conversations about rot and pestilence are happening there

Final Fantasy is a philosophically and emotionally intelligent videogame franchise that answers deeply meaningful questions such as: what if sword were gun?

I do enjoy posting on bluesky because, unlike texts and group chats, I can be sure that nobody has seen my joke instead of just not liking it.

who knows if jackson can win this thing but i am glad that he is making clear that susan collins's whole scam is to do everything she can to make life worse for mainers and then take credit for mitigating it in the slightest way possible

Troy Jackson after Collins takes credit for rural healthcare cuts in big beautiful bill not being as bad as they could've been even though she voted to advance the bill: "Sen. Collins is like an arsonist who helped set the fire, and then she wants credit for bringing a cup of water to put it out"

Weird to watch a John Wilson in a crowd and getting an empathy test on the audience towards his weirdo interview subjects. There was a segment that had the theater howling that I was tearing up at instead.

Fans of How To with John Wilson can breathe a sign of relief—The History of Concrete is both as good as the show and Wilson’s idiosyncratic storytelling style works even better as a movie!
