Here for the CFB. All of it. Just waterboard me with Jimbo Fisher losing games with an insane roster, Oregon calling plays with memes, and Boston College still not being in Boston.

"We really need to teach people how to write out what they want done. With precision. And a full understanding of the possible outcomes."

I'm _FASCINATED_ by the people in academia who apparently think there's something about "using AI" to learn. Like if they just teach how to use it, it'll be ok? I use this stuff every day to great effect, but only b/c of all the other stuff I know. I wouldn't use it on anything I haven't mastered.

I’m pretty sure I heard the Dem candidate for governor of Georgia on Bloomberg this evening ask whether the state needs more data centers rather than just say, “We don’t need more data centers.” Georgia has more than any other state.

NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.

Oh lord. He went to St X? I have known many from there. He would be by far their worst example of those I’ve ever known.

Over 2,000 alumni from Vivek’s all-boys catholic high school in Cincinnati have signed and circulated a petition demanding that he pull the ad and issue a public apology for “ignoring the moral responsibilities” of his Jesuit education. I think he’s pretty cooked.

the relief isn’t coming before election day. gas holding at $4.24/gal, diesel at $6.34/gal — Great Lakes spiking on a refinery issue, Hormuz at a fraction of normal traffic, and every policy lever has been pulled. weekly update is live!

Man, Pt 2. Stop fucking engaging and in particular stop fucking sharing.

If Americans need our little southern recipe for how to defeat fascism it goes like this: - Put people in the streets by standing for popular demands (wages, healthcare, public services) - Do not engage with fascists online - Do not succumb to doomsayers or media-driven narratives - Be happy

We can confirm that the water tower down the road from Oklahoma's stadium has been painted to look like the one in the Dr. Pepper Fansville ads.

Anyway, were I a betting man, I’d bet on this.

If - IF - the bond market “kills” the AI hyper scaling, it won’t kill AI, but it will 1) bring a lot of pain to the market and 2) bring a lot more sanity to the entire situation. And 3) might end up causing a 2005-2008 style boon for interesting new companies.

Americans have now spent $142 billion more on gasoline and diesel since March 1, enough to buy 361,000 homes at the September median price, enough to house over 900,000 people, due to the US war on Iran and other factors like limited output from Russia

Ok. Last thing about the Cheesecake Factory thing, i swear: 1) Obama's right. 2) And as good an orator as he is, he doesn't really understand this moment and how he could have conveyed it. What he should have said is that the Oval decor is cheesy as hell. It's weird! B/c they're weird!

So, I have a niece at USC and a nephew at Clemson and the degree to which they're both doing college right is so amazing to me. I really didn't do college right. Do college right, kids. It looks amazing.
