The top 10% of richest Americans own 87% of stocks. The top 1% alone own roughly half of all stocks. When Trump touts the stock market as a sign of a good economy, remember who is benefiting the most.

I am in my sixties. Ask me anything. The answer to this question is: we had maps. They were made of paper. We looked at them before we started driving and memorized the salient points.

This nearly made me spit out my coffee laughing! But sadly true in this age. Computers were supposed to be helpful and tools, not the weapons that AI has made them. I still have faith in a Roddenberry-esque future though, even if I never live to see it. One day these asshats will get their karma…

The Parti Québecois, a party whose hold raison-d'être is separatism, recently said they were putting all separation talk on the backburner for the remainder of Trump's term. Do you know how insane that is? Trump healed 200 years of Franco-Anglo tensions purely by being a giant asshole.

The entirety of the Boundary Waters is being evacuated due to wildfires, led by eight fearless Wilderness Rangers paddling around to campsites.   1,000,000 acres. 2,000 campsites. 4 teams of rangers. 2 rangers per canoe.

Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of my dear friend Satan, the Prince of Lies. Though we often disagreed about matters such as the appropriate role of torture in the afterlife, I will most remember how his quick wit and affable nature made our weekly golf outings a ritual. He will be missed.

Democratic politicians telling us today how sad they are about Lindsey Graham's death because he purportedly had such a "great sense of humor" are why Democrats are currently struggling with a base angry and resentful at the evil agendas promoted by the likes of vile toadies like Lindsey Graham.

Bonita tarde, amigos. 🥰

Climate change is literally canceling US independence Day celebrations. The July 4 parade in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American independence, has been canceled due to extreme heat. Heat waves aren’t new - what’s new is that climate change is making them hotter and more dangerous.

i have been thinking about this a lot. my "left-wing" ideas about government reform mostly amount to trying to make the federal government conform with the vision in the constitution: a strong, active and majoritarian congress

Despite Trump’s best efforts to bully them, the Supreme Court just reaffirmed that if you are born in America, you belong in America.

Like many people who have worked in politics for decades, I am baffled and upset to see candidates who say they are going to try to make things better defeating candidates who say they are trying to make it more or less like it was in the years before things tipped over into Oaf-Style Fascism.
