Once again, I repeat that Japanese labor laws make it extremely difficult to fire permanent employees making layoffs nigh impossible within Japanese companies. Execs are not taking less pay out of kindness but necessity when times are rough.

My friend who is a high school teacher is telling me she has to make her students physically write essays in her class on colored paper because of AI. The color paper makes it so the students don't bring in an already written essay that they hand copied from AI. Y'all. Y'all....

She has to also make sure the students don't go out and buy the color paper and write on that. So she writes the students names on an already assigned color paper. Each new page is a different color. Technology has made us go backwards
