Is there *any* subject RFK Jr isn't dangerously ignorant about?
Also, from what I understand, as literature, the Koran has it all over the King James.
That Mohammed, one hell of a scribe.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."
The only reason I can think of for this news not being absolutely everywhere is that large media orgs don’t want to be seen as putting their thumbs on the scales a week before election day. And that’s cowardly as shit.
Beyond disgusted by even more rape allegations against the President of the United States.
"In total, more than 25 different women...have independently accused Donald Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct."

A 2025 Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, Omar Yaghi is the son of Palestinian refugees who grew up in Jordan.
He just left the US to move to China after raising concerns about rising anti-immigrant sentiment, like the kind shown here. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/china-than...

So, so good.
I'm at 56%. Coming from a medical family, given THE HOUSE OF GOD and told it wasn't fiction, watching my surgeon father sicken and die from nosocomial AIDS, medical problems and specialists of my own….
Much of BODIES isn't fiction at all.
I may have to write a review blog post.
Bodies of Magic: OUT NOW!
Grey's Anatomy meets A Deadly Education, a mystery set during the final exam week of a magical medical school. (Or: five queer nerds solve a murder and have some feelings.)

But the ones that always get called violent are the ones that are, you know....violent.
Saying that some people apply it to all protests doesn't mean that all protests are non-violent.
Every protest gets called violent no matter the degree or not that it was because the literally degrades whatever legitimate complaint that existed into nothing
When I was in high school, old people always told me that high school would be the best time of my life.
Well, right now I'm lounging in my bed in my own apartment and listening to an audiobook that I bought with my six figure salary, and this shit is *way* the fuck better than high school. 🤷🏻♀️
I finally have an answer for something a professor on my committee asked me at my baccalaureate exam… 32 years ago. I need to email him. Fortunately, I got a chance to tell my thesis sponsor about it before he died in late August.
I reread one of the books I had to read in my honors English class in college (during my short-lived stint in the honors program) and finally had an answer to a question the prof had posed back then.
So naturally I FB messaged her with my conclusions, 18 years later.
As one does. 🤓
Aaaaaand we've reached the crazy portion of the evening. "It's meaningful but not personally rewarding" is not the point. No job is just randomly moving things around like the workers in the Fritz Lang movie Metropolis, but "meaningful" has a human context to it.
genuinely I’m struggling with this—is the impunity all around us a break with the rule of law, or is it compatible with the rule of law because—well, there they go with more impunity and here we are. is the law capable of correcting that? what would be?
The generality principle of the Rule of Law is its most essential concept. A class of people outside criminal law is incompatible with a law-based society.
How has your favorite NFL team performed this season? Here’s a chart looking at each team’s production on offense and defense using @pfn365.bsky.social’s metrics:
There's no doubt that @aoc.bsky.social has changed the trajectory of American politics. Grateful to have her with us on the ground across Michigan to strengthen our movement to get money out of politics, put money in pockets, and pass Medicare for All.
Wow! Amy Acton’s new ad is shocking. She’s talking about the issues Ohioans are concerned about and not trashing her opponent.
To be fair, she doesn’t need to. Vivek already trashed himself.
