This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

Marisa's entire piece is terrific, but this part has really stuck with me. A group of College Republicans decided that El-Sayed wasn't "welcome" in the Senate and set out to stop him.

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

ICE detained a U.S. Army wife while she was picking up military IDs for herself and her children. Giovanna Perez, who has been in the U.S. since she was 6, suspects the military reported her to ICE.

NEW: ICE is trying to deport a mother of 4 while her husband is at Fort Benning in Army basic training. When she went to pick up the family's military IDs, Navy personnel turned her over to ICE. She's been in the US since age six. With @nancyayoussef.bsky.social www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

Today feels a little monumental. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago. This has been really really hard. It was really hard because I’ve been raw dogging menopause. Today I get to start taking some stuff to help with that.

Missed this Greg Sargent joint exploring options to shut down or curtail Stephen Miller’s ethnic cleansing office within State, should Democrats retake the House

Greg Sargent@gregsargent.bsky.social

Stephen Miller’s Office of Remigration was deliberately named to announce to the world that white nationalism is now the basis for US immigration policy. If Dems win power, they should defund it. They should also defund third-country deportations. New from me: newrepublic.com/article/2157...

Today, I started the day debate prepping with my team, then watched my daughter’s soccer game, went grocery shopping, watched my son’s football practice, and made us all dinner. But yeah, I’m totally a “radical lunatic.”

The default judgment rural voters will make when this happens is that it must be the Democrats' fault. But that isn't written in stone. Which is why Dems must do something they never do: Go to rural America and attack Republicans. Not just listen and express empathy, but ATTACK.

Rural hospitals closing or shutting down key departments like obstetrics will be one of the biggest stories of 2027. Democrats need to make it one of the biggest stories of the next two months.

When I was a kid my mom took us to the Drive In to see 9 to 5. I will never forget that. My mom laughed so hard she was crying. Jane, Lilly and Dolly. I still watch it whenever I come across it.

This week I lived longer than m mom. That’s hard to comprehend. Even though I have cancer I still have so much life to live. Ivan honestly say though that if it al ended tomorrow that I have lived a wonderful life. I’ve seen so much. I was blessed to grow up in the 70’s,80’s and 90’s.

We grew up free. We muddled our way through and figured it out. Then I became a mom. He changed me. We endured life and so much death but we always kept it together. In that time I discovered myself again and was able to parent how I wanted and what would have made my mom proud.

I’ve seen awesome sites. The Albuquerque balloon fiesta, smoked with Toots Hibbert, saw Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam and saw London, Paris and Switzerland. Spent my youth and adulthood all over Montana.

I also worked in a restaurant next to a bar in high school. Patsynwas ever present. I really can’t believe I was allowed to work in a bar and then walk home at 12 after work. A different time for sure

Now listening to Patsy Cline which reminds me of the bar I grew up in. She was always on the jukebox. Yes, like a bar My grandparents worked there and took us there during the day. We ate so many snickers and drank so much coke. We also washed all the dishes and glasses.

I was just thinking of my kind of fucked up childhood while listening to “africa” by Toto. I remember we lived I think in a trailer at the time. Not the 23 footer but a bigger one. I seriously can’t believe my childhood when I look back. We lived in a 23 ft travel trailer for 11 months.4 people
