This seems to be a problem with a lot of the planning applications around new datacentres in Scotland. The blurb talks about harnessing local renewables but the details show that the significant investment needed to do that just isn't there. It's greenwashing, and it needs called out.

Now that election expenses are back I can reveal that for every single one of my constituency votes (9003) each cost my team around 0.03 pence. Now that’s what an efficient ground game looks like 🤣

There *is* unhealthy usage and ill-effects in this age group, but this is the equivalent of dealing with school shootings by banning children from schools. Fix the platforms. The Scottish Labour Party did this strategy with the SNP. Instead of working on share priorities the Labour Party did deals with the Tories and most recently reform. It’s led to their worst ever election result.

Burnham will be more damaging than Starmer. He represents the last flicker of hope for folk still deluded enough to back Labour. But he’s adopting all the rightwing positions that have been Starmer’s undoing. Burnham will pave the way to a Reform government even faster than Starmer. Labour is over.

Michelle Main was such a committed & passionate person for Sighthill & it's people. The appreciation of all she did for everyone she met was on show at her memorial service today, as folk had to stand outside the Crematorium today. She'll be sorely missed in Sighthill, & by everyone who knew her 💚
