This is all of college football in one gif: the coolest thing you’ve ever seen followed by the dumbest, just seconds apart. Magnificent.

This is maybe the best escape I've ever seen and then there's the pick

Honestly hard to explain how big this is. First win against UGA in 9 years, first in Athens in 21. Felt like the rivalry was slipping away and then this, as 20+ point dogs. Golesh can sell the hell out of this.

Last night at the Weird Al show a dude sitting near me pointed out that we were both wearing very similar New Balances, and then he realized we both had on black G-Shocks too. His girl said, “It’s like you’re each other’s doppelgängers.” We both laughed and then we never spoke again.

This and my old brick iPod got me through many road trips in my old Explorer Sport. What a champ.

This is fun but I have to recommend the better, or at the very least more comprehensive, version Grantland published when the show ended: grantland.com/features/cle...

Twenty years after the beloved football and family drama, “Friday Night Lights,” premiered, the show’s creator, Peter Berg, and the stars Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Taylor Kitsch, Gaius Charles and others look back on its legacy.

Going to laugh when Sumrall’s got a conference title (and/or playoff win) before Lane.

LSU refusing to consider “the Tulane Coach“ is the most Louisiana thing possible

It’s not going to be a big laugh, because Auburn could’ve had this dude, but it’ll at least be a giggle.

did you know that we get the word "cockamamie" from a bastardization of a term ("decalcomania") for a period in the 1930s after temporary tattoos were invented by the French and kids were running around putting them on fucking everything?! 🐦🐦🐦

What you expect to hear from a startup exec, not the head of a multi-billion dollar division of a multi-trillion dollar corporation.

I have read the NYT piece on Sharma and we have her acknowledging the need for "disruption" and "clarity" without providing any tangible solutions to the challenges facing Xbox. That's alongside a paragraph claiming Xbox's chief strategy officer has been 'tutoring' reporters. Whatever that means?

Microsoft has a golden opportunity to take a chunk out of Sony’s market share and be an actual competitor but they’re lead by someone who just keeps spouting buzzwords and looking back to see if they register, over and over.

I’ve got no real good photos from the night but seeing Gorillaz for the first time in 25 years was simply exhilarating. They ended with Clint Eastwood after two hours and brought the house down. Just a great night for me and my boy.

Nalgene: you should only buy one of our bottles, ever, to save the environment Me: okay, well, what if I’ve just got this sticker of a hot dog and I’m out of space on the three bottles I already got

This was excruciating to narrow down. A bunch of greats just missed it: Battlestar Galactica, Band of Brothers, Station Eleven, Silicon Valley, Futurama, Always Sunny, and Deadwood, among others.

What a life this dude lived: survived the Hiroshima bombing, lived through the familial trauma, learned to bat lefty when he burned his right hand, became the most prolific batter in the history of the league and retired to commentary and anti-nuclear activism. Also, never backed down from a fight.

The New York Times@nytimes.com

Isao Harimoto, who survived the Hiroshima atomic bombing as a child and went on to have more hits than anyone else in the history of Japanese baseball, died on Wednesday. He was 86.

This FSU-SMU will have: - No scoreboard - No clock - No replay review - No PA - No helmet comms - No sideline iPads - Limited lighting - Coach comms do work Buckle up

I would like to liquidize this and shoot it straight into my veins.

Baylor goes for the 2 points and the win only to get stopped agonizingly short

Blocked off the work calendar in record time. We've got "appointments" to go to, lads.

If I call you “dude” you’ve either entered into the eternal bond level with me or you’ve pissed me off so much I have no further words for you.

Honest-to-God college football on my television in less than 90 minutes. Are these even good games, you ask, exposing yourself as an outsider. In my culture that is a forbidden question.
