Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

So the Clacton by-election is going to be a run-off between a clown solely interested in media attention via cheap stunts who plays a cartoon villain for social media idiots without the slightest interest in representing Clacton or doing the work of a parliamentarian... and Count Binface?

In politics, we’re torn between ideals and practicalities, aspirations and realities, the world as we want it, and as we find it But one day a manifesto comes along that reconciles both in every pledge. A rare moment of clarity and hope

among all the trivialities in the news I think its important to record my position on the more serious topics at hand: The bourbon biscuit is indeed superior to the custard cream, simply because it dunks well in coffee as well as tea, unlike its more limited pale counterpart.

Introduce yourself with what almost killed you. Heres one of many, going down sires hill as fast as I could without considering whether I could stop at the bottom. Ultimately the brambles opposite and the quick reactions of the driver who stopped inches before I dove into his bonnet kept me alive.

Grrr this makes me angry, the article lists so many reasons why it should be a classic, and the only justification that it shouldn't be is "what is a modern classic anyway?" Although I do agree that it should be the whole series rather than picking one book. www.spectator.co.uk/article/did-...

spectator.co.ukDid Terry Pratchett really write classics?Penguin adds Terry Pratchett’s Night Watch to Modern Classics, but the choice is an odd one when you consider the writer’s legacy.

The violent murder of someone who shared my surname and just a few miles from me shocked me to my core. The fact it happened just because of his skin shook me out of my white middle class comfort zone and awoke a deep hatred of racism. RIP Steven.
