It's important at work to establish someone else as the "Big Brewer Fan" and not yourself. That way if they, say, lose a terrible WS game everyone in the office complains to them and leaves you alone.

I have a predisposition as a Wisconsin sports fan to waiting for the other shoe to drop, and yesterday was certainly the beginning of that.

I don't understand the doomerism of Brewers fans today. Brewers hit the ball hard last night, Rays have used up a lot of their pen and their presumptive starter for G5 last night, and while he hasn't been his regular season version of himself Miz should still give some quality innings. Breathe.

WE WERE THREE OUTS FROM NO GAME 5 FFS

Curt Hogg@cyrthogg.bsky.social

Pat Murphy said Jacob Misiorowski was not an option he wanted to burn in a one-run game in extra innings with a 3-0 series lead. Misiorowski will start Game 5.

How the fuck do we not have any other fucking pitcher on this roster than can close this fucking game

Literally been saying this all postseason. Why wear the mitt when you only slide feet first.

You wear the oven mitt to slide heads first right?

John Smoltz just said the Brewers didn't hit the ball hard during their eight-run 5th inning in Game 3. That is not true. All but one of their seven straight two-out hits registered as hard-hit balls. If Smoltz had read @baumann.bsky.social’s story from last night, he would've known:

blogs.fangraphs.comSink, Florida, Sink: Inside the Rally That Broke the World Series OpenThe Brewers have been on the right side of enough bloops to make you think not only is God real, but that He’s also made of cheese. The fifth inning of Game 3 was not that.

Everyone leaving the stadium watch party tonight had a wild, knowing look in their eyes as we all high fived each other, friends and strangers alike, but none of us are brave enough to say it yet. I love this team, I love this city, and I hope to God we continue to #WinOurWay.

Chris Hook on Brandon Woodruff pitching in the World Series: "I don’t think we can clap enough or say enough or do enough to give him enough applause for what he’s brought to his organization."

The series is not fixed. That’s ridiculous. Show me one thing that would justify you saying it’s fixed. Like show me the ball bouncing in Tampa off a sign for the Wisconsin-based fast food chain, Culver’s

via @stathead.com, throughout 122 years of world series history there have been two games in which a team scored 10+ runs and allowed 3 or fewer hits. both were the brewers (tonight and 1982 game 1)

I know I keep saying it but it is literally impossible for me to wrap my head around the fact that the Milwaukee Brewers are one win from a World Series championship

I’m just so happy for the city of Milwaukee right now. This town has to put up with so much, and a lot of it is unfair, and it just makes these moments where people come together and celebrate this place that much more special. Because this is just such a great city. I love it.
