It's great to hear the govt is considering equalising Capital Gains Tax (the tax paid on income from wealth) with Income Tax (the tax paid on wages). If done right it could raise £11 billion+/year for our public services, whilst making the country fairer & boosting growth.

I’m back from a short break - and found the Illicit Finance Summit expected this month has been pushed back to December, as tax havens continue to drag their heels on transparency. The UK Govt can issue empty threats, but we can’t take these seriously when they’ve allowed 3 missed deadlines to act.
