Americans: Just a reminder to vote before or on Tuesday, November 3rd. You have ONE week to make a difference in this country. The best thing you can do is text a reminder to vote for any friends living in a battleground state. This is your chance.

The lessons from Brazil and Serbia? Don't concede one inch of ground to the far right. Don't appease. Don't triangulate. Don't grovel. Don't say they have "legitimate concerns". Mobilise your base, and fight them with all the democratic means at your disposal.

Finished Control Resonant tonight, what an awesome game. If you tapped out because it wasn't the character action game you were hoping for you missed out on one of the best Superhero games ever. A modern Infamous with a level of flexibility to combat that left me wanting to play with all the toys.

Replying to @minnmax.com

They'll explore the "cost of war" to US Soldiers who get PTSD from the war crimes they commit, while the leader of the group goes "we get PTSD so the rest of the world stays sane".

Oh fuck your disingenuous horse shit (Not you Eurogamer, you're doing great) This film, much like the franchise, is going to be funded by the US Government and Army as a recruiting tool to save enlistment rates.

This absolutely knocked me out

Dumbasses on Reddit, ResetEra, Twitter, Bluesky, etc. continue to deeply DEEPLY overestimate the power their whining online. The Ball and Gun gamers are the backbone of the industru, and GTA 6 is out in less than a month. This was ALWAYS going to happen.

NESbot@nesbot.bsky.social

PS5 sales being up 22% last month, despite Sony seemingly having the worst online PR in its history, kind of shows how fake the internet has become www.resetera.com/threads/16...

A Grand Theft Auto VI trailer during Game One of the World Series. Plays better on PlayStation. The “PLAY STAY SHUN” stinger at the end. No mention of the other console that I could see. Any optimism the Xbox camp has about that game needs to be re-evaluated.

I can't really be bothered with Hurt Syndicate discourse. For me, they already accomplished what they needed to. I enjoyed what they did in AEW - and even if there is truth to why they have been off tv, that's fine too...it doesn't bother me. It's ultimately only their loss. In the words of PAC:

ITS BEEN 6 YEARS WTF DO YOU MEAN "Early development"? Very sustainable. Very cool industry. Mass Effect was AT LEAST 4 years off no fucking wonder this happened.

Wario64@wario64.bsky.social

new Mass Effect game is canceled '“over the past several months, we’ve taken a hard look at our business” and will cut some projects, including the next Mass Effect game, which was in early development at BioWare.'

Last month we lost our jobs. This month we made new ones. Introducing X BUTTON: an independent gaming network from three ex-IGN employees. A new weekly Nintendo podcast! A new weekly video game podcast! And that’s just the start, but we can’t do it without your help! www.patreon.com/cw/XButtonShow

I knew this kind of bullshit woukd start getting around after Expedition 33s "Under 30 developers" bullshit flew.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer was made by a core team of 75 people. "What we wanted to do was keep that core small, smaller than perhaps you might have done in the past, and scale capacity and capability with what we call distributed development." https://bit.ly/4hT02qg
