When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

When you know little about arts: crudely looking creations are signs of an amateur work. Cute but not fit for serious art When you know about arts: crude is either a stylistic choice or first steps of a professional in the making. Both are very cool

we should all be pissed off at this btw. if not because sex work is legitimate work and should be treated with respect, then because you should be concerned at attempts to gentrify online spaces as pretext to court investors and force out minorities so those spaces can become part of a portfolio.

do you think one of the reasons todd's nerd charisma doesnt work in the 2020s anymore is because the 2000s parable of the little tech nerd who could led to said nerds becoming some of the biggest drivers of modern fascism and therefore we just dont find that endearing anymore, or am i insane

The full team was like 1000 people. People outside of the “core team” did some major heavy lifting. This is outsourcing. What you are doing is outsourcing and then downgrading their contributions. There is nothing innovative about this.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer was made by a core team of 75 people. "What we wanted to do was keep that core small, smaller than perhaps you might have done in the past, and scale capacity and capability with what we call distributed development." https://bit.ly/4hT02qg
