Which one is old and which is new? The tankette looks like a modern uncrewed ground vehicle (UCV)….

New article- visual guide to the naval drones (USVs) on display at Kyiv’s Independence Day parade. The second one hasn’t been shown in public before. There were a couple of others, a RHIB based one and a Magura V5 with mast, but they were hiding from the camera www.navalnews.com/naval-news/2...

Riddle me this: what is a small and purely volunteer and professional military worth, without a total unquestionable advantage in hardware and tech? How do you imagine projecting any strength anywhere, when your enemy can lose 100k people and continue and you regard 100 as an unprecedented tragedy?

People have been talking about it for decades, but it has been hypothetical: you depend on absolute air superiority, which is a bottleneck. We are at the point in technology, when this superiority is not shielding your ground assets - WHAT do you expect will happen in a real war? #USA

Great strategy to push a society towards a civil war. It doesn't even matter who's on top this moment. It matters that centrist communities and politically mixed families, workplaces, social clubs etc. are dying out. This graph explains much more than probably intended.

Video of Chinese uncrewed surface vessel (USV). 2 were paraded in Beijing. I have seen a significantly greater number in a Chinese port on satellite imagery. Likely mainly for mine countermeasures (MCM) Larger and armed than Western types. Cabin for optional crewing, per equiv Western designs

🔥🔥🔥 excellent choice 🫡🫡🫡 Good exit from a lousy situation. Would be better not to get into this BS in the first place. But nevertheless.

Last night, Russia attacked a European capital with over 40 ballistic missiles. That leads nowhere in European news headlines this morning. Russian terror, murder and destruction are simply taken in stride as a normal story.

It appears that Zelenskyy has made an enormous error and has indeed removed/replaced the popular Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Official conformation of this error of judgement comes tomorrow it seems. A very big and unpopular mistake.

Of great interest Must update my USV guide, might split AUVs into a separate one

⚡️'A new era of war begins' — Ukrainian sea, ground drone team up for combat mission on Kinburn Spit. In the "first combat mission of this type known," a Ukrainian sea drone delivered a ground drone to Russian-held territory on the Kinburn Spit, Ukraine's 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade said.

🇵🇱🇺🇦 Polish Defense Minister: "I prefer that our Patriots shoot down Russian missiles over Kyiv, not Warsaw. Those who criticize Polish support for Ukraine have lost their minds. It drives me crazy."

Now, THAT is something UA and PL can agree and solidarise on! In light of recent scandals, let's use this positive message to foster unity and understanding 😁🔥

To the evergreen Moscow question of how one can even try to imagine a security order in Europe without Russia, I offer an eternal Polish answer: by razing it to the ground. It's an out-of-the-box solution that avoids the pitfalls of previous attempts to solve the problem.

In the last six months - war has changed again. Unnoticed by many. While the US, Israel the Gulf and others adjust to deal with first generation Shaheeds, trying to understand drone interceptors, mobile crews, and new echelon strategy - we have entered the next era of combined long-strikes. /1

AND the next generation of killzone, changing where and how logistics are feasible. Old farts (and I am no spring chicken) still clinging to a pre drone doctrines while this is going on is just.. I can't even. I wish I could, but I can not. Cheers

I think we could really use a lot more clear heads in Ukraine-Poland debate atm. I hope we can stop the escalation because we need to to not give Putin the satisfaction. I will apologise in advance for our President, as I belive he will start some <unmentionables> soonish.

False equivalence. MFA notes are normal. Going further is not.

Why would it? One produces a TV a day. One wants 1 quid. TV costs material+quid. One produces 2 - TV costs material*scale+0.5quid. Suddenly having more than one TV per middle-class families lifetime is not unreasonable and we need to produce x1000 of those boxes. *scale is always < 1

The biggest impact will be on SaaS. We made a custom CRM for ~$1.5M back in 2017. The customer - a huge firm. Now you don't need to be huge to afford one and a legion of SMBs will want one. I predict that software engineers &QA, to deliver it with any level of quality, will be in an unheard deficit.

We need anti ballistic missiles. 29 tonight targeting Kyiv - all hits. Ideally something that can be used with Patriot launchers, or at least can be integrated with the Battery. FP and others are working on own ballistics, that will for sure target launchers and production facilities in ru. But...

We need solutions now. I bet we have a small stockpile that is dedicated to guarding things like the Dnipro dam, which if hit with a couple of tons could flood Kyiv displacing millions and killing thousands. When ruskies just shoot into the city, destroying random houses, they hit and kill.

...The short range (enough to retaliate against launchers, making this terror campaign more costly and difficult) variant is projected to be deployed in autumn. A lot of people will die before that.

How do you deal with a socially conservative and religious society? I bet you didn't know that in Ukraine production and distribution of pornographic content is illegal(basically a soviet law with slight rewrites is still in effect). Which is not only dumb, but also a breeding ground for corruption

There is an initiative that actually passed committee hearings finally! And you know how? They've called the full rewrite "bill №15294 on strengthening liability for the production and distribution of child pornography" 😁 it actually has a chance to pass next week.

MPs won't be afraid to vote for THAT; nevermind that the content and actual purpose of the bill is the same that got killed at least 3 times in the last two years. Ukrainian politics is very fun 😁

Multiple groups have been trying to decriminalize porn for 2 decades. The state loses millions in taxes from Only Fans etc, and shady policemen have been known to abuse the heck out of the law. A rewrite or overturn has been killed in Parliament dozens of times, regardless of who's in power.
