For the 1st time in my 17 yr career as an English teacher, I have started to give a spelling test. They had a week to study and we covered it in class every single day of the week before they took the test. Just 5 words. I even have a giant “imagine” John Lennon poster in the room. 🤪😭

While working at a Planet Fitness, I was watching our local Fox channel playing a homage to African-American leaders for a Juneteenth celebration. Then I looked over to ESPN and their version of celebrating Juneteenth was to play a documentary of the summer of 1994 when O.J. Simpson killed his wife.
