My mom sent my kids each a card for Easter one year. She mailed them Holy Monday and one got here Wend, the other didn't make it here until 8 days after Easter... I get informed delivery and fuss when I my mail is missing, so it's a little better, but still slower than other states we've lived.

When we moved here, hubs got his in 2 wks, it took me >3 mos. Got pulled over & the cop asked why I had Texas plate and not a TX DL, I stated to go OFF about the whole level of BS and he promptly let me go with a warning. It would be interesting to find out the demographics of those who have been suspended. I can remember when the US helped to ensure that elections in developing countries were fair. Maybe those countries could return the favour.

Here in OR, the USPS mail carrier decided my son did not live at the new address he provided to the Elections Bureau & sent the voter reg confirmation card back to the county as undeliverable. That caused the county to inactivate him. So many ways your voter reg can be sidelined- EVERYONE pls check!

It's supposed to be if the card they mail you gets returned to them, they suspend you. Sad we can't trust they are actually doing it correctly and for the right reasons.

☞ About 1.2M Texans are on the suspense list if official mail (voter cards, etc.) came back “Undeliverable”. That does not cancel their registration/stop them from voting. ☞ They can still vote by filling out a Statement of Residence at the polls if they haven’t moved. ☞ Check status VoteTexas.gov.

I was registered to vote in Texas as a Democrat in 2016 when we moved to a military base overseas. I requested an absentee ballot and they never sent it. I sent a provisional ballot and I would bet good money that they never counted it

Yes, check and double-check. Local County Clerk’s Offices also have lists of people who are on mail-in lists and were sent ballots.

This happened to a friend last year. She moved to TX after marrying her husband who is military and stationed there, and when she checked her status: it was fully wiped out of the system (one of their purges) despite having been registered already. I guess her name wasn't 'Murica enough.
