I've been seeing some interior samples from artists looking for comic work. A few reminders of things to include: -clear shots of characters' faces at various distances -interior and exterior backgrounds -loose and tight clothing -fast and slow action -vehicles Optional: animals, kids, a kiss

Advanced life lesson: how to separate the art from the artist. An artist is one person among many, while those moved by art are legion. Love the things you love, but please continue to mind who you support with your dollars.

I think we'll be reflecting on how good #MTGRealityFracture is for years to come. It's not obvious; more a slow burn. Gameplay, story, art...this set is an absolute home run, and I don't think we even realize it yet. Definitely not fully.

I just saw that a Masters of the Universe MTG Secret Lair is coming. That's a big deal since MotU is by Mattel, a direct competitor (and, I assumed, mortal enemy) to Hasbro, owners of WOTC. Is this an olive branch? A victory lap? Something else entirely? Not sure, but I'm unexplicably hyped?

this video has a lot of amazing stuff, including more 8th edition test prints (the ones i like) than i've ever seen in one place, but these legions test prints are what really stood out to me. i wasn't aware that the test fetches even existed in the wild.

Just saw this movie last night on HBO Max. If you're into seeing cinema that looks like nothing you've seen before, I'd checked this out.

If one keeps taking food from artists' mouths, we will never see anything new ever again. This one is especially egregious for its pettiness. It was so easy to do the right way and pay the artist for the alter. 😔

PBS taught me to speak English when I came to this country as a kid. That's a big deal when one is trying to be part of one's new home. I'm the American I am now because of it.
