I know absolutely nothing about Lula except that i saw someone share a clip on insta of him in celebration kissing a trans woman politician on the cheek and oh my god is that a radical act for a politician in 2026 so lets fucking go

We’re all used to a world where you *can* post things. It makes sense. Get book, pack it, post it. At a post office. Use an international service. But it doesn’t work like that anymore. We’re in basically a time of international trade conflict where countries are closing their doors to free trade.

Good news, everyone! My latest publication, _The Book of Theyzolius_, is finally available through general retail distribution channels! So if for some reason you wanted to pick it up but weren't able to make purchases via Lulu, you should now be able to do so on the other site.

Probably this is AI spam over SMS. Probably we'll see a lot more of it in terms of influence operations funded by foreign powers, billionares, etc.

I thought I'd play along, since I had to sit over at my mother's house while her stairlift was getting serviced. In the end, the convo reinforces how much I despise both Bibi and Trump. And I don't think there's likely to be much progress towards actual security until both are gone.

NVIDIA CEO JENSEN HUANG SAYS HE BELIEVES MOST PEOPLE WILL PILOT GIANT ROBOTS, SITTING IN THEIR HEADS, AND PUSHING LEVERS, AND ROBOTS WILL PUNCH EACH OTHER WITH GIANT FISTS, AND SHOOT MISSILES AT EACH OTHER.

Crazy this is not obvious to Wall Street: every democracy saw what Musk did to Ukraine last week and confirmed security need for Starlink alternative. Those alternatives will not just serve defense needs, but also be viable commercial alternatives, crushing any hope of SpaceX's monopoly projections.

And here’s the trailer for BEING HEUMANN. In cinemas Nov 6, streaming on AppleTV Nov 13. I saw it last night at the London Film Festival & it’s a triumph.

Any Irish person on this network ? I'm curious about what's the Irish sentiment toward joining Schengen (if the UK had to join Schengen as part of a re-join agreement), for instance, or following a reunification). Boost please.

Astonishing that he must have been successful in hunting. Ferrets are obligate carnivores. So maybe mice, voles, amphibians, bugs? Plenty of fresh water at the creek, even with the level low because of drought. He doesn't have the amount of winter pudge that his brother has accumulated, but he's

not emaciated or anything. One scab on his head that might be a sign of some kind of confrontation with another animal, no other clumps of missing fur or injuries.

moment to a foster home across the bridge in Superior. And...it's our Chonkerdoodle! He's lost a lot of weight (though not so much as to look unhealthy), and has a lot of ticks, but it's him. He and his brother are dinstinctly larger and longer than most pet ferrets. They immediately recognized

each other upon their reunion, with kisses and grooming. So here's your happy story for the day. He traveled far -- I assume staying close to Tischer Creek all the way down into the Congdon neighborhood where he was found. And after much more adventure than any pet ferret needs, he's home again.

ferret in distress. We worried about his ability to feed himself, as an obligate carnivore without practical hunting experience. (Water was not a problem; there is a stream that runs behind our house.) We actually had a family memorial and wrote him farewell notes. We adopted a new ferret one

week ago. (Chonky's brother and lifelong companion, Nipsy, seemed lonely.) Today -- 33 days later -- someone on Nextdoor said that someone on Facebook reported finding a ferret under their outdoor furniture covers. Friendly and unafraid. Michelle called and reached the finders, en route that

Our president is deranged and extremely dangerous. Leave Minnesota alone. Leave our immigrant neighbors alone. Hate will never win. Resist.

John Moe@johnmoe.bsky.social

As completely deranged and fucked up and wrong as he is, I gotta say it is stressful to have the damn president of the United States constantly attacking my state of Minnesota, sending violence, calling for violence, putting all lives at risk, killing our neighbors. Like it really takes a toll.
