Got to do some pottery today. I was very pleased with the results of trying out some miniature painting techniques with underglazes. Also made my biggest pot yet (6 pounds of clay) and made him look like Alexander from Elden Ring. #pottery

Good boardgame convention this weekend. Managed to sell half the games I brought. I was hoping for more as my prices were shall we say motivated seller prices. But still, a good start.

Was getting ready to head to bed for the first day back at work when i read the news…. I just can’t believe Pac is gone. We just saw him have a great match… My condolences to his friends family and colleagues…

Mystery Wrestling! It is the Best Thing!

I was finding too many headlines and even some summary videos cut out a lot of Chrétien’s Gander speech but I feel the whole thing with the context is worth the watch, rather than just the bombastic headlines and extracts. youtu.be/wMTO8h5v4h0?...

I interacted with “The Butcher” Andy Williams only a few times on social media and Mystery Wrestling, mainly to discuss sandwiches after the sandwich shop carried The Butcher sandwich. Even just that small interaction gels with what I’ve heard everywhere of how amazing he was. Rest in Peace Butcher.

Experienced a CanCon shibboleth the other day. Someone posted an old Mulroney Turner election advert about NAFTA... and I KNEW the voice of the American negotiator. My initial hunch was correct it was Bert from The Raccoons! Len Carlson did a lot of voice work like Senator Kelly in Xmen.

If you’re not watching Mystery wrestling right now you’re missing out!

With all that’s going on in the world today I was delighted to see a new episode of The Bridge show up on podcasts. Chantal Bruce and Peter definitely had some great insights into the last week.

Also I’m not on here that much anymore. I’ve been surfing mainly Gander Social and have found it a much more relaxing experience.

Using AI for a wrestling poster is bad enough, but are you so lazy you can’t even look at it and see how awful it is? Or at least read the text to see if it even makes any sense?

I think I just realized one aspect of Sony’s abandoning of physical media that’s so galling. The fact that they announced it mid system. Feels like false advertising/ bait and switch given they Sold a disc based version of the system. Doing it for next console would be one thing but this….

Happy Father's Day 🖤

So apple is dropping support for the Apple Watch Series nine… which came our less than 3 years ago… yeah. I’m not getting another Apple Watch. Time to get back to Pebble I reckon.

She is very lonely

New steam controller looks neat, but I won’t be buying it. Not because it’s too expensive, but because it’s too expensive and Valve’s math on exchange rates is ridiculous.

YOUR PEROGIES ARE READY! House of Targ, Ottawa's best pinball and perogies barcade and music venue. Right across the street from The Mayfair Theatre, as seen previously. #art #Ottawa #bankstreetottawa

Star Trek figured this out thirty years ago. It's not hard. Even an old, drunk Klingon got it.

I have finally centred almost 6 pounds of clay for the first time. I can’t wait to start making my own snack bowls!! #pottery

Damn but this 4 way tagteam match on #AEWDynamite has been just amazing. Truly an appreciated diversion!

Oh, it's apparently on Edelweiss, too, so if you do that instead of NG, well, there you go!

Be Careful When Using Ai

Played Covenant and Emberheart Friday. Definitely prefer Bitoku personally, it clicked after one play, Covenant feels like it would take a bit to grep. The more I think of it the more I like games that are generous with options and resources rather than constrained. #boarsgames

Happy 13th birthday to the most essential artwork of the current era, @kcg.bsky.social ‘s “This is fine,” to all those who celebrate.

Thank you, Bandido, for this excellent new meme format!

Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, offices felt like relics of the past. Now, companies are enforcing return-to-office mandates that don’t seem to make sense for employer or employee—at least on the surface. Writer Kathy Chow investigates: thewalrus.ca/return-to-office...

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎆

Out of everything I made this year, nothing encapsulates the struggles and the rewards of 2025 like my Eddie Kingston x Berserk project. Here’s the YouTube cut no one saw lolol. 1/8 #aew
