How is People’s magazine doing better coverage than most legacy media? people.com/former-miss-...
i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.
“being on the edge of the time zone where sunrise is earlier was equivalent to changing class size from 40 students to 20 students. When you have fewer students per teacher, you get better academic outcomes, and that was the effect of this time zone position.” Gift article

I don't know that there is a definitive line to cross that makes you say, "I live in a police state now" but when masked gunmen can routinely brutalize the public, citizen or immigrant alike, with impunity, you have reached that point.
Kavanaugh stops in action: ICE tackled a non-verbal kid near his school, left him with injuries requiring surgery, and then left the scene when they realized he wasn't the person they were looking for www.independent.com/2026/10/23/i...

No part of this commentary is surprising coming from RFK Jr (it is as accurate as any of his other scientific claims) but it is insane that in the current political climate a person can say something like this essentially without profound personal or professional consequences.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Nobel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

Why was the Ivermectin Cancer Study retracted? One look at the authors should have been enough - including Nicolas Hulscher, Dr. Drew Pinsky (“Dr. Drew”), Dr. James A. Thorp, and Dr. Peter A. McCullough. Bunch of 'wellness' grifters www.techarp.com/fact-check/h...

Another banger - as this article, about SARS 1 (© by the 2004 Infectious Diseases Society of America), clearly points out: academic.oup.com/cid/article-...

In MAGA, parental estrangement is a big issue — and parents are held out as blameless victims. I suspect that's one reason why Vivek Ramaswamy ran an ad celebrating Amy Acton's vile mother. And why MAGA — including Vance and Trump — are backing him. www.salon.com/2026/10/23/r...

What's that you say? A UK study aimed at proving that ADHD and autism are over-diagnosed actually found that we are still under-diagnosing both, and lack access to assessments remains a huge barrier to support? What a shocking and unexpected conclusion! www.politicsuk.com/p/fonagy-rev...
Automotive safety. Cars have become dramatically safer in my lifetime thanks to disc brakes, crumple zones, power brakes, radial tires, antilock brakes, cameras, backup sensors, etc
Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?
I object to the inclusion of "hypnosis" on this list! See, for example... pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30790634/
Parse out the voters that didn't actually want to separate but wanted to "send a message to Ottawa™️" & the official #Separatism vote number might at best hit 10%. For the record a larger percentage of Americans believe in FAIRIES than Albertans that legitimately want to separate from Canada #abpoli
