Pantry Host is a self-hosted, privacy-first kitchen companion for managing recipes, menus, ingredients, cookware, and grocery lists. All on your own hardware. And thanks to contributions from @austin-liminal.bsky.social it runs as a Raspberry Pi ZeroW compatible Rust binary. pantryhost.app

Kind of amazed that we got Pantry Host running locally on e-readers. Take your recipes with you in a more desirable form factor. Tier 3 (Claude Code) users can also leverage a skill to publish your kitchen as a .epub or .pdf!

Trying to get Pantry Host to run on a Kindle Scribe as a HTML-first web app. It’s a bit tricky given a separate goal of supporting Raspberry Pi ZeroW. Realistically, periodically pushing an epub or pdf to an e-reader is probably more sensible than the limited web browser.

A reminder that the Kennedy Center isn’t just a performing arts center, it’s a memorial to President John F. Kennedy and only an evil vindictive vile weak depraved narcissistic pathetic subhuman would spend every waking day trying to deface it and completely destroy it out of spite and jealousy.

So far so good with this Eley hose reel and Aeromixer 150ft 3/4” garden hose. Extra capacity and post mount kits; attached to ground treated 2x4 attached to 4x4 fence post. Set a paver to take some of the 4x4.

As problematic as AI can be, there’s a lot of promise in the coding space. LLMs essentially make math more accessible to people and I’m all for that aspect. We gotta stop framing it as mutually exclusive to human output though. A session is an agent (LLM) + human

I saw someone make the point that rn is actually the best time to get into programming because you don’t have to argue with some random guy on stack overflow anymore and that’s fair. Gate keeping has been a systemic issue in the industry.

As @una.im just mentioned in her #cssday talk, the CSS WG recently resolved to insert a ⓘ after EVERY SINGLE INTEREST INVOKER on touchscreens. Here’s a mock of what this would look like for bsky. This is the issue to let the CSS WG know what you think: github.com/w3c/csswg-dr...

Think about it: Black and Brown communities have spent generations surviving systems built to break them. Imagine the sheer, world-altering power we’d witness if that brilliance was finally allowed to build without a ceiling.

Morning everyone. Do you know that your President just exempted himself, his family, and all his family's companies from our tax laws? You are subject to the law. Now he is not. No one should not pretend this is okay or normal. It's an ongoing constitutional crisis.

Obama: "What I'm more interested in for Democrats is, do you know how to just talk to regular people like we're not in a college seminar? Can you talk in plain English to folks? And not have a bunch of gobbledygook around it. Just talk like normal people talk. 'The rent is too high.'"

Don't call it "expanding" SCOTUS. And, for God's sake, don't call it "court-packing." Call it **right-sizing** the Court. (There are 13 circuits now -- not the 9 circuits there were when it was set at 9 justices 157 effing yrs ago!) Or call it *modernizing* the Court. Thank you.
