Did you see the report from decomp.dev about all this? it's been fascinating to me cause decomp was like the one thing I thought ai was Inarguably Good At and so while I hated it I understood why ppl wanted it but turns out, the people who use ai to decomp, are all ai guys, who are fucking awful

the point of decomping (especially as a community project) is reconstructing code that's easy to understand. ai could never be good at this due to the same shit as always. it produces text that has no intent or meaning. just stuff that "seems likely" while happening to correlate to the binary
