#HorrorWritersChat The kitty was very sad that his mouse toy was gone, so he hunted the rest to show his dissatisfaction instead of napping. Everyone gasped in horror when they realized Kitty had been inconvenienced and he got a lot of salmon, which truly was the best and strongest ending of all.

#HorrorWritersChat There’s the non-malicious monster – it’s its nature to destroy everything in its way, you just happen to be in its way. The one beyond comprehension, who has different rules and morals. And the humanoid one, who just decided to be evil by stupidity, laziness, greed and other sins.

#HorrorWritersChat I’m more comfortable with fairy tale horror, where the creature/place/supernatural event/magic object represent a primal fear and ask difficult questions. Imaginary setting and realistic psychological reactions do it for me. Not everyone is a hero- and if they are, at what price?

#HorrorWritersChat Hmm...sort of did this with Winter. Same pianist from above is trapped and forced to play his favorite, but Winter is for violins. He has to write a piano version of it or he can say goodbye to the rest of his fingers.

#SeptemberWorldbuilders I have unfinished books since years >< Not that I don't enjoy them, but I can't focus. Re-reading Peter Pan and reading the Haunting of Hill House. Both are great. Also Infinity Train is (near) perfect and its cancellation was a crime.

#SeptemberWorldbuilders This world has 2010ies technology when it was still working. MC is a vampire who has perfect night vision but can be easily blinded by any source of light stronger than candles. He uses sunglasses and his phone screen is nearly pitch black.
