I think Mastodon rubbed off on me, because I also converted an old Dell laptop into Ubuntu home server, and now self-host shitton of things on it.

A while ago I added Ubuntu as a dual boot to my Aurora R16, to play with it, see how it feels. And what's interesting - I never booted Windows since, not even once. Ubuntu does everything Windows does, often a lot better. It's even a perfect gaming OS ffs.
