This owl was getting banded and tagged by the Rocky Point Bird Observatory. For the owl’s safety, he/she was wrapped up. These photos…🤣🦉. So cute.

I and I alone control the price of MSFT. If I want it to go up, I sell. If I want it to go down, I hold. No matter what happens on Oct 28 (earnings report) it'll do my bidding.

oh, interesting, it inherits followers and following from GitHub, basically "lifting" the graph. And it uses the GitHub account to sign-in.

Is C# fast enough to write VLC plugins? I raced VLC's Gaussian blur, written in C, against a C# port inside the same VLC. Byte-identical output. Line by line: C wins, C# takes 23% longer. Both tuned to the limit (AVX2, one core): 240 vs 236 fps. martinfinkel.com/blog/gaussi...

Mew's build system "Purr" is coming along nicely. It's still an early prototype, but everything finally works the way I envisioned! Naturally, it's written in Mew and included in the stdlib.

Avalonia @avaloniaui.net has been beyond amazing while working on Live Geometry. The same C# app works on Windows, Mac and in the browser:

My long-standing dream finally came true! A visualization of a dependency DAG drawing arrows without intersections. Each selected figure depends on a couple of figures before it in the topological sort order. This way you can see the closure of all dependencies for any figure.
