Another person has died in ICE custody — this is the 28th known death this year.
The cruelty of this rogue agency is beyond unconscionable. Abolish ICE.
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
I will not be silenced.
Yesterday in Downtown LA, ICE detained a mother and her 9 year old child. Then, agents began pressuring the mother to bring in her 4 year old daughter (a US citizen). The mother was overwhelmed and unsure of her rights.
Sen. SCHMITT: We have texts saying you attended an Atlanta Hawks game in February 2024.
Former Special Counsel Jack Smith: I believe it was a Maryland-Iowa game.
Sen. KLOBUCHAR: The Iowa HAWKeyes. Perhaps the Senator from Missouri should have looked at these texts more carefully.
Schiff is up. Apologizes to Jack Smith. “My colleagues have attacked you, but NONE of them have tried to deny what happened on January 6th. They attack you because they don’t want to address the facts. The Barr DoJ sought toll records without a peep from my colleagues.” 1/
Before calling someone a “dirtbag,” the Senator should have had his facts straight. An apology is in order.
Glad one of us knew the difference between the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes!
BREAKING: It took eight tries, but the Senate has voted 50-47 to advance a resolution to limit Trump’s war on Iran.
Bill Cassidy flipped after losing his primary, joining Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Rand Paul in voting with Democrats.
John Fetterman was the only Dem to vote against.
Tech companies are causing disruptions to jobs and our economy, and middle class families are bearing the consequences.
To ensure they pay their fair share I’m proposing a tax on social media companies that will support Minnesota workers impacted by artificial intelligence.
Billions of dollars spent on the War in Iran, but we don’t have enough money for the things that help Americans here at home?
Health care.
Food stamps.
Housing.
Tariff relief.
Lot of things we could do with billions of dollars.
BREAKING: As many as 150 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war with Iran, according to sources familiar—far higher than the Pentagon’s publicly disclosed figure of just 8 seriously wounded troops. The true toll of this war is already far worse than the public has been told. (Reuters)
Bloomington police announce arrests in sex trafficking bust: "Rashad Johnson out of Maple Grove. This is the most disturbing arrest that we've had here. He is a backgrounder for ICE, Homeland Security, and federal agencies."
US Olympic Curling Team member speaks out against ICE:
"I'm proud to represent Team USA. But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention what's going on in Minnesota and what a tough time it's been. What's happening is wrong. There's no shades of gray."
When people are afraid to go to work, afraid to shop, or afraid to gather in their community, it hurts families, neighborhoods, and our entire economy.
If you can, show up for a small business and let’s continue to show the nation what it means to respond with care and decency.
Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.
The death of Alex Pretti has been ruled a homicide, the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office said. Pretti was shot Jan. 24 during a chaotic encounter with federal immigration officers in Minneapolis. Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez were named as the two officers who fired at Pretti.
I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.
I don’t let bullies win.
Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
Stay free
This isn’t immigration policy. It’s a business model.
ICE keeps growing, not because it makes America safer, but because corporations are raking in billions off cages, bodies, and suffering. ICE’s existence is a massive revenue stream.
A woman recording an ICE agent tells him "Shame on you."
The agent responds, "Have you all not learned from the past couple of days?"
"Learned what?" she asks
Then he knocks her phone out of her hand
