When I was 17 I worked in a fruit packing plant. On my second day they stationed me up on a rickety ladder, trying to keep a poorly maintained conveyor belt functioning. OSHA guidelines were thought of as a suggestion. After 4 hours I fell off the ladder, hurt my back, and just went home.
