Life's so much better with an EV. Since moving to Portland my efficiency has grown from 3.7 mi/kWh to around 4.3 mi/kWh due to lower speed limits and gradual incline/declines. It's brought the range of my 5 year old EV up from 285 miles to ~330 miles while the cost to charge is half. Glorious!

EV's and regenerating are just great, making their own "fuel" as they go. Never had any of my late fossil cars doing that... On my way to work my 2019 Nissan e-NV200 BEV made 34% of the "fuel" used all by itself. #BEV #electricvehicles

Why do people with Long COVID and ME/CFS wake up unrefreshed, even when a standard sleep study looks close to normal? A 2026 study in the journal SLEEP points to the fine-grained structure of sleep itself.

🧵 Ultimately, fatigue in ME/CFS shrinks lives so severely it often takes a devastating toll on mental health. This impact is unsurprising given the immense loss of careers, relationships, hobbies, & independence. tinyurl.com/fatigueimpac... #mecfs #pwME #cfs #fatigue #ChronicFatigueSyndrome 1/

"COVID fatigue linked to reduced brain blood flow" Brain scans found lower overall cerebral blood flow in people with Long COVID, especially in regions involved in attention, sensory processing and cognitive control. Lower blood flow was also linked to slower reaction times and concentration.

Japanese engineers have developed a new method to recover 90% of lithium from used electric vehicle batteries by swapping standard sodium hydroxide for recovered lithium hydroxide in the chemical refining process. In America, we are making it impossible to afford learning the skills to do this.
