The US may have a two party system, but their policies are ultimately the same and resistant to change. If they do, they get rolled back by the next administration, and we have to listen to "lesser of two evils" while throwing marginalized people under the bus.

It's cool seeing Brazil become a reference against the far-right, but you can't focus exclusively on online strategies. Lula also had politics that engaged people: he banned online gambling, reduced work hours, improved wages, defended public healthcare, etc. You don't mobilize masses on centrism.

Eventually, I'll have to study proper character design, but every character design course/tutorial has the most Kurri-Repellent designs possible. "This character is a mechanic, therefore, they have a giant wrench" thought makes me want to pour bleach in my eyes.

Truthfully, I don't view myself as a character designer anyway. I have characters. But what makes for "strong character design" and what "appeals to me" are at separate ends of the table. Sometimes, we touch, but otherwise, this is my cake, that's your cake.

To be clear, I'm not knocking "strong character design." I recognize there is a purpose. You want characters who's design is engaging and quick to understand the story of. I just do not care about that for my own stuff.
