A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.

If Dems win the Supreme Court races in Pennsylvania in 9 days, it’s extremely likely the GOP can’t get a majority on that court until 2029. The GOP really wants to have this majority during the 2028 presidential race. Can’t put the stakes any more clearly than that. boltsmag.org/pennsylvania...

boltsmag.orgInside the Clunky Elections to Control Pennsylvania's Supreme Court - BoltsThe GOP is making an expensive push to end Democrats’ majority on a court at the center of election lawsuits, sparking a fledging campaign season with little precedent or template.

The Senate’s version of Donald Trump’s tax cut bill will cost the bottom 20% of taxpayers an average of $560 a year while giving an average boost of $6,055 to those at the top end, per Bloomberg.

the Senate's small-state ultra-bias is never more maddening than when one senator uses it to get benefits for her 740,000 constituents while openly acknowledging the bill she's supporting will harm the nation's 339 million other residents.

The US senate just declared war on the American public. A bill that destroys Medicaid while cutting taxes for the wealthiest at a time when we already have record income and wealth inequality is societal suicide.

Eric Adams is running on the "End Antisemitism" line. That makes it literally his signature issue. Surely he should know the specifics better, right? Right?

Asked what specifically Zohran Mamdani has said that's antisemitic, Eric Adams doesn't provide a single example. "A little research and you'll be able to find it," Adams says.

You’d think that single one of these establishment Dems attacking Zohran would be able cite a single, specific example of this alleged anti-Semitic speech. But every time it’s vague statements about how they’re “scared” or they allude to some mythical comment out in the ether.

Quick note to everyone pretending that Zohran Mamdani somehow favors communism, here’s the Republican president literally saying on camera that he wishes America were more like Communist China.

If people really find this to be such an easy conclusion, then Congressional authority should be easy to get. So why don’t they insist on a vote? They know this isn’t “progressive” resistance. They want to marginalize it as such because on top of this war being ILLEGAL, it’s also deeply unpopular.

CNN’s Van Jones urges “progressives” to “get on board” with bombing Iran: “I think progressives underestimate how dangerous Iran is. Iran is not a normal country,” he said on air. Jones did not share whether he considers Israel—an apartheid state currently committing genocide—a “normal country.”

Sure why not
