Some days, the things I celebrate are huge: getting an award, finishing a cosplay, nailing an interview, etc. Other days, the things I celebrate are tiny. Today, I got all the garbage, recycling, and compost out and swept the floors. I'm happy with both.

This is a good illustration of how so much of AI theft isn't indirect (ie, data sucked into a model to train the chatbot) - it's actually **direct** copying, but *enabled* by GenAI. Of course it is: chatbots absolutely suck at creating good, new stuff.
