It is a totally unjust transfer of wealth and opportunity from artists, writers, musicians & other creatives to a tiny tech elite.
I hope it is remembered as such.
(this quote is from a document he wrote that was unsealed in Bartz v. Anthropic)
My favourite part of game development is when a prototype is doing well enough that I can justify spending some time on art. Been noodling with an 18 card ‘miniatures’ style game that I think might be worth the effort.
PHEW OKAY! good + good-eventually news! If today is any indication, we are most likely going to sell out of all 3 books by end of day tomorrow 😳
If Jellybots, the bestiary sketchbook, or especially the mural field guide were must haves for your LightBox, come early tomorrow and we’ll have em!
Fun art Friday with art by Jacqui Davis!
Meet the Vintner, Dentist, Pilot, and Mechanic from Mr. Oswald’s Puzzle Society!
The Mechanic is in the core game, while the other three are Kickstarter backer bonuses! Click the link below to be “Notified on Launch!” -TV
here it is: the biggest single piece of art I’ve ever made 😳
Inspired by eyewitness book ecosystem cutaways, it’s sort of uh a psychological ecosystem of metaphorfish as one does
it'll be a little while till I can mass-print the first volume of the monkzine but until then I made a special little coptic bound version on some fancy inkjet paper
Showing off the bits I can share publicly at the moment of my new character design portfolio!
If anyone got some character design work need doing, hit me up!
Oh, you don’t like AI cause isn’t ethical or cheap or safe? Well, have you considered that it’s supported by all the most annoying and evil people on earth?
WHAT THE EVERLOVING FUCK IS THIS. This AI slop account just *made up* an incorrect picture of this game's box and contents. It took me 5 seconds to find a good publicity photo of the actual game. Humans work really hard to make games. Have some fucking respect.

Fat Horse No. 25
It’s the year of the horse and I’ve always been a horse girl at heart, so I’m taking advantage of the excuse to fill the world with fat little horses! These felted friends are about the size and shape of an apple, and if you have any apples to share I’m sure they’d help you out!
I could not be happier with how it turned out...feeling Big Feelings seeing it on my desk after all this time.
And it's only one (the chunkiest) of 3 books I'm debuting at the expo this year
Every movie, song, and book that you love was made without the technology that people who don’t make art are now insisting is necessary for making art.

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.
An incredibly tough read.
We flagged concerns about the effect the redundancies would have on projects during our own consultations, it’s bitterly disappointing to see this.
I sincerly hope that those backers get their games, we were working hard to deliver them before being let go.
Steamforged Games is facing mounting criticism from crowdfunding backers over unresolved refunds and dwindling updates across its undelivered projects, after it cut about a third of its workforce and refocused towards its Warmachine miniatures earlier this year:

"By using AI, tasks like essays that used to take hours can be completed in minutes!"
Sure, like how if I arrive at the gym and immediately go for a shower, my workout is done in record time. And if I throw my sandwiches straight in the bin, I can finish my lunch in under 10 seconds.
This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead
“It is highly unusual that an end-product threatens the economic foundations of its essential suppliers, but that is the situation we have created for our LLM business with respect to its ‘content supply chain.'”
Yes. Because the usual thing is to PAY YOUR ESSENTIAL SUPPLIERS, NOT STEAL FROM THEM.
