The separatists in Alberta lost. Badly. Why we don't have to go around pretending otherwise -- and why those who keep trying to platform their voices and reason with their unreasonable grievances are doing more harm than good. #cdnpoli #abpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2026/10/26/o...

It would be nice if news headlines/reports stopped saying “BC Conservatives win first majority in a century” when the BC Liberals and Socreds won plenty of majorities and were, you know, conservative.

John Ibbitson compares Alberta and Quebec separatist movements: "What you don't have in Alberta is that deep-seated nationalist sense, and what you don't have is that quality of leadership. These are, I hate to say it, very petty men."

Dear #BCpoli; Yes, Eby f-d up by calling this snap election. Huge unforced error, & he deserves political consequences for that. But take it from an Albertan: you don’t want the west coast version of UCP running your province. You don’t want an echo of our mess. Vote wisely. XOX 🫶

Shoutout to Candian Blood Services for making it real easy to offload a half litre or so of blood. So many places are all "put pressure on the wound" or "somebody call an ambulance!" These folks are friendly, efficient, and they even provide the motorized blood cradle for you at no expense.

The US government is now asking Elon Musk to restore the access they say was never removed, Elon says was shut down by the US government, and both briefly tried to pretend was down due to a technical glitch, in between darkly hinting Ukrainians deserve to die for being stubborn or ungrateful.

To the people who are still talking about how Canada is "not taking Alberta seriously" -- what on earth are you talking about? The PM is an Albertan. The leader of the opposition is an Albertan. Our national politics revolve around Alberta's interests and concerns. What else do you want?

Further evidence, if it was needed, to support Canada moving away from reliance on US military procurement.

Telegraph: The White House has blocked the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine, US officials have said. With 🇺🇸Nazi Trump openly allying the 🇺🇸Nazi USA with 🇷🇺Nazi Putin’s Russia, there is no way on God’s green earth that 🇨🇦Canada can buy any armaments, F-35s or otherwise, from south of the border, any more than the 🇬🇧UK would ever have bought from Hitler. 🙄😒😠 www.nytimes.com/2026/10/18/u...

The separatists are going to lose today’s vote. But if Alberta’s political class doesn’t stop feeding and inflaming their bottomless sense of grievance and victimhood, we’ll all end up losing in the end. #abpoli www.nationalobserver.com/2026/10/19/o...

Alberta separatist leader Mitch Sylvestre: "You know, Alberta and Canada could be much better off if we were allowed to produce more oil and develop our industry here. It's been basically shut down since 2015." (it's actually at record levels)

That’s my assumption now as well, that Trump will be more brazen in his support of Russia against Ukraine. Despicable.

The issue here is - he is 100% right. BUT, I fear, as a "payback" for the truth, DJT will help RU in the open. Now, we don't know if this would even change a thing, as he could've been doing it all along. Main issue - neither allies nor us in the US know the scope of what's going on.

Are there still straight men out there who don't comprehend how many more women we'd pull by pulling off gay standards of dress, grooming and general taste? I mean, we'd still need to overcome being relentless assholes, but that's just a given. We've worked around that one for centuries.

This is true. In 2016, I got into an argument with a gay man on a menswear forum. I've since made it my mission to make every man dress gay, thereby destroying his ability to tell who is actually gay and, ultimately, his chances of finding love. I built my social media following to achieve that goal
