Predigo que Estados Unidos será bilingüe en un futuro no muy lejano. Como Québec, pero en inglés-español. Mi gentes, puede celebrar el cambio y aprender un poco de español, o estar miserable. Tú decides.

He is *eternally* jealous of the cool kids. Always, forever, Trump is textbook envy of people who are quantifiably better than he is, in all ways.

Putin pioneered this. No opposition is legitimate. Regular, decent, “ordinary” people cannot possibly be against us because only we represent “the real people.” Tell-tale sign of authoritarianism.

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

People want to have their basic needs met. They want to be paid a living wage. They want to stop being nickle and dimed by powerful corporations who control so much of our lives. They do not want Venezuela. They do not want Greenland. They do not want masked thugs terrorizing our communities.

It’s a new day in New York City, and Zohran Mamdani is asking a fundamental question that everyone else across the country should also be asking: Who should our government work for?

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts. Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Our local USPS is more than happy to hand cancel any mail….just have to ask. Anything time sensitive, I always request that. Yes, you have to go in to the window. But that’s a small price to pay when something needs postmarked by a certain date.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

This is the story tonight. Every Dem who was in that room should be telling us what they saw.

Himes: "What I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my time in public service ... any American who sees the video that I saw will see the US military attacking shipwrecked sailors."

Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

Yesterday, President Trump tried to justify the murder of Jamal Khashoggi by saying "things happen." Today, Senate Republicans blocked a resolution that condemned his murder. The Republican party's refusal to stand up for a free & fair press endangers journalists worldwide.

If Joe Biden had an MRI a month ago and we had no idea why it was done or on what body part and he claimed he had no idea about either of those things it would literally be all you heard about in the press but Trump just gets a huge pass b/c reporters treat him differently.

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

I want the United States government to ensure that every American has food to eat, a place to live, a safe neighborhood, transportation to move around & work, clean water to drink, free health care & free education. Don’t care what label you give that. That’s what I want my taxes to pay for.

Stop calling it deporting, so MAYBE more Americans will get it. "Deporting" is sending someone back, after due process, to the country they came from, where they arrive a free person. This is human trafficking to a foreign torture prison for the rest of their lives. GET THE LANGUAGE RIGHT.

ICE brutalizing CITIZENS — did ya vote for this, MAGA? “Witnesses say ICE slammed on their brakes causing the red car to resend them — which is the pretense used by ICE to brutalize citizens”

We also need the DNC to do their GD job and vet these double agents like Sinena, Fetterman an Manchin. There's no reason they should have been able to run as Democrats. How many times have we been screwed over by wolves in Blue clothing?

The 100 lowest-paying US corporations spent $644B on stock buybacks from 2019 to 2024. Buybacks artificially boost share prices and inflate CEO pay. The typical worker at these companies earned $35k last year. Meanwhile, the average CEO was paid $17.2M See the problem?

Not being even vaguely sarcastic: At some point, a journalist needs to ask Johnson “you regularly claim you have no idea what your own government is doing. If we take you at your word, how are you so poorly informed, and do you this level of ignorance should disqualify you as speaker?”

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: What's your message to the 170 US citizens who have been detained by ICE? About 20 of them are children MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know what you're talking about with the children. I haven't seen that so I'm not going to comment on it.
