Luigi's Mansion stream later today! I've long held a "tradition" of playing it every October that I haven't lived up to for the last 3+ years, so we're fixing that by doing it on stream. Super Paper Mario (and the bonus stream that we reached the goal for) will resume next week~

It's cool seeing Brazil become a reference against the far-right, but you can't focus exclusively on online strategies. Lula also had politics that engaged people: he banned online gambling, reduced work hours, improved wages, defended public healthcare, etc. You don't mobilize masses on centrism.

still can't believe we're now at a point where King K. Rool is a more relevant Nintendo villain than Ridley love me some K. Rool but god damn do i miss that screaming purple dragon

When trans creators are subtle, people dismiss the trans subtext as “headcanon.” When trans creators are loud and proud, people call it “obnoxious” and “cringe.” They just don’t want us to be represented in media at all. Because they don’t want us to exist at all.

Just heard my first Christmas advertisement... on October 25th. We secularists will continue our War on Christmas until it agrees to withdraw to the November 2nd borders agreed to in previous treaties. Defend the Halloween Homeland, my spooky brothers and sisters.

After many months I have finished Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold. Despite my immense frustration with one specific aspect of this game, I had a good time and would like to try a Classic Mode playthrough at some point. Review below if you're interested!

This is one of those moments that makes me laugh in politics, especially when someone who's a furry says they're Republicans. This is what your party thinks of you.

It's hard to overstate how dumb and utterly amoral this guy is.

oh joy, controlify appears to be the only controller mod updated for minecraft 26.3 💀 can't wait to not be able to edit signs without disconnecting my controller again 💀💀💀

the use of "wait" here is legit so slimy. tf you mean wait. devs don't wait, they make the fuckin thing. ooooohhh but if you're a dipshit billionaire exec like tim sweeney is now, i guess you do just WAIT for it, huh?

Outta my sight, scrub

If you use ai generators, I hate you.

To put this into perspective for yall this ram I got was $65 ONE YEAR AGO. ITS $260 NOW.

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

“there’s a new [insert video game sequel] coming out!!” lol no there’s not

It would be lovely if the video games industry would let the people who make the games buy food

Will be doing stream #2 of Super Paper Mario later today! Probably gonna shoot for 6pm Central.

Video games has decided to discontinue its once leading product, the video game

New texture for the Rulistrix! May cap it at 3 for release.

if you mix THC syrup with Cream of Wheat, does that make it Cream of Weed

If you create anything, be loud about how you don't touch genAI. A lot of AI bros are mistakenly convinced that everyone uses it. Being clear about it also helps reduce everyone's stress and protects the spaces we care so much about.

Remember kids, a rich bigot torturing her economic inferiors to death is fine because there's no rule against it, but if a poor mouths off at her that's worse than ten holocausts

platforms like itchio and cohost and bandcamp show us conclusively what rentseeking middlemen want us to believe is non-obvious... if you let people support the people they want to support and get out of the way with your ads and your algos and your bullshit they will do it bsky.app/profile/joew...

99% of the time the person making the callout is the actual abuser trying to get a group to bully the victim lmaoooo

i like how my impressions of Peter went from "oh wow he's actually pretty good for an archer, i may not even bench him" to "oh, i promoted him to Charioteer and now he's the single most overpowered unit in my entire army, and it's NOT close"

flying cars are one of those sci-fi tropes that act as a grade-A dipshit detector. If you think about them for even a minute you can tell why they're a conceptually terrible idea, but tech-obsessed dipshits don't do that.

i have gotten literally every single possible drop from the quality weapon crate multiple times over with no mini bow in sight. whyyy is this the only "guaranteed" way to get one in 3/4 routes :/ i sure do love resetting dozens of times

Apparently Meta will change their TOS to say that, if you use a Business account, you give them permission to scrape YOUR OWN WEBSITE to train their AI models. Until I find a better solution, I'm moving all my domains behind Cloudflare's FREE anti-AI service. (steps and pics to follow)…
