Walter Koenig as Oro in the Canadian sci-fi series The Starlost. The Canadian produced show was filmed in Scarborough, and only aired for 16 episodes in 1973. Due to budget cuts and production difficulties, show creator Harlan Ellison left before the first episode aired.

On this day in 1946, Ivan Reitman was born. He began his career with CITY-TV in Toronto. His films include Animal House, Meatballs, Ghostbusters, Stripes, Kindergarten Cop and Twins. He was an Oscar and Emmy nominee. He died in 2022. 📸 Matt Sayles
