We don’t talk enough about Peter playing one finger keyboard and bending the pitch when R.E.M. played Lotus live. 🪷 👍 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve “mimed” doing this on the kitchen worktop. (Whilst also wearing my Rickenbacker 360 of course!)

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Good morning, Bluesky. 🌞 The sun rises through the morning mist in Sweet Potato Gorge. The gorge is often mentioned in the Ami people's Aboriginal folklore in Hualien, Taiwan. #landscapephotography #landscape #naturephotography #nature #sunrise #taiwan #asia #eastcoastkin #photography

R.E.M.'s 'Reveal' turns 25 with a deluxe reissue on November 20, including 'The Black Sessions Revealed', a previously unreleased 17-song Paris concert from 2001. Live "Imitation of Life" is available now. zurl.co/bddMg

zurl.coR.E.M. Revisit 'Reveal' With 25th Anniversary Edition and Previously Unheard Paris Concert - That Eric AlperMichael Stipe once escaped a cold, miserable stretch of Dublin weather, boarded a plane in search of sunshine and ended up finishing one of R.E.M.’s most beloved songs on a beach. That unlikely burst of inspiration helped shape ‘Reveal’, the band’s luminous 2001 album, which celebrates its 25th anniversary with an expanded edition arriving November […]
