Polish Jew. Immigrant. Historically notorious lesbian. Aging into profound disdain for Western “civilization." My graphic novel translating an eyewitness account of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising coming 10/27. Look for "What I Used to Read to the Dead."

Enraging news from @mondoweiss.net. If you're in the Boston area, go tell the Wilbur they're odious - then thank the always-amazing Booksmith!
Witness @nytimes.com drop a coy euphemism in service to the cult of white nationalism they call a government.
Quick question for @delauro.house.gov: Why is your name not on this list? On a related note, why would I ever give you my vote again?

But when I asked an organizer what they wanted to see out of press coverage, they told me they wanted people to see the beautiful things they are building here, and not just the worst stories of the worst of ICE's crimes. What people are doing here is beautiful. It's a tragic beauty, but a real one

Pardon me, good Doctor @goingmedieval.bsky.social Is there a translation/edition of Revelations of Divine Love that you would recommend? Finally listened to your interview w/Simon Critchley, and I'm so many kinds of intrigued.

I urge Massachusetts legislators to go to Louisiana and see Ms Ozturk in person. (Camp out on the doorstep!) They need to show that MA's elected officials are personally committed to stopping secret police from kidnapping and incarcerating any of us when we speak up against wrongdoing.
Urgent question for @chrismurphyct.bsky.social , @blumenthal.senate.gov, @delauro.house.gov. Why am not seeing your name on this letter? As a 2nd generation Holocaust survivor, I was raised that snatching people off the street for their views or ethnicity is ALWAYS wrong. Your silence terrifies me.

We’re going to spend the next 4 years seeing normal, everyday people do more to stand up to lawlessness and fascism than all the institutions of power and privilege. And if we get through this, all the leaders of those institutions will clap each other in the back and say what a good job they did.

Columbia grad student with a green card and a pregnant US citizen wife, abducted by ICE because of his political organizing, and now his lawyers can't find him. Hey, @schumer.senate.gov. This is your constituent. Bring him back home.
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is. They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there. They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

OK, wealth inheritor. Be the exception. Loving this for you.
