In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

A company led by overt fascists with clear sympathies and commercial to a US regime that is an adversary should not have access to information about MoD processes, or be awarded any business that puts the MoD in the position of relying on them.

'He perverted the excellent institutions of the realm', said the chronicler at Melrose Abbey, 'mismanaged its laws and customs, and misgoverned his subjects. His inclination became law.’ 'No man may trust him', wrote the troubadour poet, Bertran de Born, 'for his heart is soft and cowardly.'

'Many dreadful and fantastical apparitions were afterwards recounted by many people about him', said Ralph of Coggeshall, implying that John's soul was suffering the torments of Hell. ‘Foul as it is', wrote Matthew Paris in the 1230s, ‘Hell itself is made fouler by the presence of King John.'

'He was a very bad man’, said the Anonymous of Béthune, ‘more cruel than all others. He lusted after beautiful women and because of this he shamed the high men of the land, for which reason he was greatly hated. Whenever he could he told lies rather than the truth.'

‘He set his barons against one another whenever possible’, continued the Anonymous, ‘and was very happy when he saw hate between them. He hated and was jealous of all honourable men; it greatly displeased him when he saw anyone acting well. He was brim-full of evil qualities.’

Pretty clear that Trump/Hegseth are doing everything they can to force Ukraine to surrender to Putin by withholding all US assistance while actively helping fund the Russian war machine to kill as many civilians as possible including kids. What a dark, evil chapter in US history.

This is equivalent of Trump rejecting FBI assessment of Russian interference in US elections. It’s not “Burnham’s” claim, it’s our own intelligence agencies’ assessment. Denying it for political advantage is both shameful AND short sighted, as it does nothing to enhance her credibility.

Kemi Badenoch spent most of PMQs pouring doubt on Andy Burnham's claims about Russian interference in our democracy, yet her spokesman can't tell me whether she has yet read the Russia report, which was published some six years ago during her own time in Government

Frankly amazed that the British Museum didn't request a loan of these guys for the exhibition.

Andy Burnham says there was Russian interference in the Brexit vote, but Nigel Farage has called him a liar, so now, gosh, I don't know who to believe.

It's both shameful and deeply humiliating for what was until recently the world's most powerful democracy to be reorienting itself so that it can be more like, and closer to, a second tier criminal autocracy like Russia.
