BARTIROMO: Did you see Europe is drafting a plan to open up the Hormuz Strait without the United States?
TRUMP: It's so sad. Look at Greenland. We should have Greenland.
I can confirm that people who are already exhausted and scared of going through TSA and flying right now, people who have just been told to wait in a line for 4+ hours, are absolutely furious to see ICE agents—a stark reminder of who exactly is to blame for this situation
They had names. They had beautiful faces. And they had the same dreams as your kids - crushed when American "precision" bombs slammed into their Minab elementary school, killing 175
Don't blame AI for this. Blame the sick humans who see war as a game

NYT confirming MS NOW reporting:
Prosecutors began investigating Renee Good's killing, then Washington told them to stop.
Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.
"We blow up ‘alleged’ drug boats in the Caribbean but pardon actually convicted drug traffickers in the U.S. Someone help me make sense of this.”

Imagine being one of those CEOs or school presidents who bowed down to this weird old man, then realizing he doesn’t like you as much as he likes this guy who didn’t bow at all
Kavanaugh stop. Smashed the kid’s car windows and arrested him. He told them he was a U.S. citizen. The officer replied “I don’t care.”

Farewell @washingtonpost.com. I was a committed subscriber until this piece by your editorial board. No more. Just canceled. What a load of garbage. NIMBY reference is absurd in the context of The People’s House. Shame on you.
Chicago priest Father Michael Pfleger: "The state of emergency is in AMERICA, not Chicago. It's birthed from this president and his admin's reign of terror."

If things weren’t bad enough already, Republicans in control of Congress are shutting down the government.
Why? Because Donald Trump opposes making health care more affordable for millions of Americans.
Way to sell your super important summit and the supposed leverage you claim you have by already downplaying it and saying they will probably have to have a second meeting now (when they haven’t even had the first one!). Trump is playing checkers. Putin is playing chess.
If it’s the Golden Age & everything is great & the economy is booming & Trump has ended all wars & slayed inflation & everyone is happy & drug prices are down & his approval is at 71% & everyone hates Dems, why would they need to do mid-decade gerrymandering to hold the House?
With a few days distance from this event, it reeks even worse.
If government data just becomes propaganda and the leader gets to make up whatever numbers he wants, it becomes impossible for a democracy to function. This is not a small moment.
Trump told reporters today to focus on other people he said were connected to Epstein: “I’ll give you a list. These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein.”
Hold it! I thought there wasn’t a list 🤔🤔

The Big Bad Bill ends Federal tax credits for residential rooftop solar but if you install it by December 31, 2025 you can still get the 30% rebate for the project cost!
It's become clear that this administration is just a protracted war on anybody who's read a book without pictures in it. It's a miracle we're all still getting up and going to work every morning. The psychological drain is the point, and I'm increasingly grateful to the people who are still decent.
The House just voted to pass yet another betrayal of the American public.
Pro tip for my Republican colleagues: when legislation hurts your constituents, you don’t have to vote for it.
The American public elected a president and administration who whether they knew it or not was intent on dismantling the very things that made America the economic and cultural envy of the world. That is the story of Trump 2.0.
The idea that Trump adheres to deadlines is absolutely ludicrous.
The man promised us a healthcare plan over 450 weeks ago.
It's been infrastructure week since I was born.
Russia sanctions are supposed to be coming in two weeks.
Too much power to make decisions impacting the global economy and global stability is in the hands of one unstable man, who is a terrible decision maker surrounded by sycophants. Pray for our country. 🇺🇸
Murphy: "Everything that's happened in the last 7 days - the fight w/ Musk & now the deployment of the National Guard - is probably also a distraction from the main story, which is that Trump is trying to pass probably the most unpopular piece of legislation he will attempt to move through Congress"
I’m starting my annual walk across Connecticut today! Beginning in the very northwest corner of the state - Salisbury. I will talk to hundreds of people over the next few days about what they want (and don’t want!) from their elected leaders.
My favorite week of the year!
The recent MAHA Commission called kids in America "the sickest generation in American history in terms of chronic disease"
It failed to mention the HUGE progress we have made in childhood mortality over the past 50 years
Deaths for every age group of kids down 50-75%
Here's CDC's Data
I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.
It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.
