The pro-russian German neo-Nazi party has been hacked by a Ukrainian living in America. It does not really come as a surprise that the email correspondence clearly shows that AfD members have apparently been paid by the russians. (source: Die Zeit, and mdEP Erik Marquardt)

A russian drone burned people alive in a car as they were driving down the road, despite others desperately trying to rescue them. For Trump, his admin, AfD, and other moral bankrupts, this is just fine. For everyone who hasn't sold their soul for blood-soaked rubles, this is horrifying terrorism.

Modelspeak may be a little worse than the typical cliché, in fact, because it makes the reader wonder whether there is any speaker — and that profoundly undermines communication.

Mark R. Stoneman reposted

I'm on the other side of this one, actually. Style counts. If people can hear modelspeak in your prose, it weakens the effect in the same way overusing clichés weakens the effect. I don't care *how* you get there, but if an editor says "this doesn't sound fresh and authentic," you have a problem.

The imperialist meeting of the minds in russia and the US is open, explicit and despicable but also pathetic— obviously despite Tuberville, Trump and Putin’s bravado, the people of Ukraine have been thwarting imperialist plans for their country for over a decade now.
