If you’re priors include “Matt Yglesias is a person worth listening to” then yes, update those asap
Matthew Yglesias continues to say that talking about ICE and excessive force in immigration enforcement helps Republicans. He is obviously wrong about this and refuses to acknowledge the data. Way past time for everyone to update their priors on this.

We were just talking about hateful old cunts who pretend to have no idea why their kids don’t speak to them. Her ears must have been burning
Wrote last week on The Rooster about Conman cutting an ad with Amy Acton's estranged mother as his "October surprise." Well, here it is. Polling on it just went out.

its absurd that one person can decide this
JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.

I hope the people who were imploring Marisa to leave poor lil’ Tommy alone because he’s just a kid understand what rubes they are
SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.
lol he’s really living up to the Low-T JD nickname
JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are.I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize"

Sky is incapable of empathy yet his own feelings are very fragile. This is a person who should stay off the internet entirely
Pretty surreal how sharing a traumatic story about my daughter's birth elicited someone to call it "insane bullshit". I was just trying to contextualize why people are right to call our healthcare system dogshit, and also why you don't have to be an asshole if you disagree.
You say vacation home doesn’t count, but how about buying a vacation home in a fancy locale and burning through the rest of my millions on petty disputes with my neighbors/zoning board?
obviously the line been useful and frivolous is grey, the one rule I’ll establish is that “vacation home in beautiful locale” doesn’t count as frivolous imo. we should be talking about some dumbass bullshit.
Just once I’d like to read about a democratic woman from my home state and feel something other than profound disappointment
Uhh…. Rep. Hillary Scholten is accusing DSA for a suspicious white powder being mailed to her. “The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)…” OH, THEY CLAIMED TO BE DSA SO IT MUST BE TRUE.

For a quarter-century, a border tribe has staved off plans for a wall on their land by allowing DHS to use it as a testing ground for border security. But the Trump administration has cast off any pretense of cooperation with the Nation.
