In the last year, No More Robots has funded + is currently funding a dozen games, and has paid numerous devs to make prototypes happen for free But obviously, getting press is absolutely impossible for us, because only doom and gloom gets clicks

Unbelievable loss. An amazing talent, and just a really, really good person. www.instagram.com/p/De8RFy4pyov/

Not only that there are many artists who enjoy drawing porn and they shouldn't be ashamed to sell it and charge what they're worth. Shaming sex workers who star in porn and artists who draw porn just makes things more dangerous for them and hurts their livelihoods.

There is so much more empathy in the world than there used to be, even if you don’t believe me rn. When I was in grade school boys snapped girls’ bras and nobody did shit. Same with swastikas, etc, drawn on lockers and textbooks. It’s a joke, bro. What’s the big deal?

Serbia defeated a 14 year regime backed by Putin. Brazil stopped a takeover supported by the richest techno-oligarchs on the planet and meddling by the American government. Hungary finally ousted Viktor Orbán earlier this year. They did it by voting. Never tell me voting is useless.

artists! ICYMI: if you've tagged your art, you can make slightly more organized galleries in case your media tab is a mess (like mine). this was possible before, but now it's easier to link to with bsky's new buttons! you can get the link by clicking a tag, and then "see # posts by user"

Who cares about GTA and Zelda? 🫣 Icy Tower drops on November 10th! 🥳 youtu.be/ujm5_cORxps?...

For a very long time there have been two industries disguised as one Making video games And squatting on top of video games extracting all the potential wealth, joy, and whimsy from them to feed the shareholders

making games so you can hopefully afford to make more games is literally a different industry from grinding up people so number goes up and it is harmful to pretend otherwise regardless of whether or not we share a platform or a binary format

Every “pro” tip on prompting that I’ve seen (against my will) boils down to using clear, descriptive language, treating basic communication like it's some sort of abstruse and novel skillset.

Sweet, another new song for the sex play list : p

For my Playdate game I spent months reading old books about software rendering and trying random trigonometry code until something more or less logical showed up on screen... and I still don't understand half of it. And it's been a beautiful journey. Don't rob yourself of such experiences.

please feed the artists. there's a green button now

one of those people where every time i learn something new about them i like them a lil bit more

gringo mutuals, this is not a drill, nor a hyperbole: we've been gaming the algorithm in all social medias and protesting on the street almost non-stop for 2 weeks now. Undecided voters are turning away from Bolsonaro Jr due to our collective action! We're turning this around for real!

I think a lot about the flash era and how much beloved animation was so simple but so beloved. Nobody ever rags on on Homestar for not being a badillion fwames per minute. Everybody loved Xiao Xiao, and that was just stick figures. Speaking of which, this is so good while doing so little:

since California ballots are now out: prop 40 is the billionaire tax, and you should vote yes to stick it to them but both props 41 and 42 are designed to retroactively cancel the billionaire tax because they’re afraid they can’t beat it at the ballot box yes on 40, no on 41 and 42

Rep. Delia C. Ramirez has introduced a bill that would abolish not just ICE, but the DHS altogether, repealing the 2002 law establishing the agency and replacing it with one focused on protecting civil and human rights.
