Algebra, numbers, principles of optics, medical encyclopedias, astronomy, hospitals, surgical tools, universities, coffee, lab chemistry--all of Arabic origin. This mfer had a brain worm, collects road kills, sounds like a dial up modem, works out in jeans. This is a uniquely American arrogance.

I think Belmont’s Curse is one of the more enjoyable 7/10s in recent memory. Its flaws are glaring but what is good is strong enough to keep pulling you forward.

It's also pretty unconscionable to have so many game publishers who want to do everything but publish video games because the economy has become so enshittified that the measure of a company's success is how much liquidity they have as opposed to the products and services they provide.

I feel like the writing was on the wall once the Saudi government decided to saddle EA with $20 billion in debt, but this still feels awful. I feel like BioWares impact on gaming history is still somehow understated, and this is terrible for the folks still there, esp in Edmonton
