This starts with her aggressively trying to link him to the Muslim Brotherhood. I'd like to see someone turn the tables on this. "You're Christian, right? Did you support Timothy McVeigh? Did you agree with Dylann Roof? Or Eric Rudolph? Robert Lewis Dear? No? Even though you share their religion?"

El-Sayed on Fox: "There is this argument you try to make often is that the best way to take this problem on is more war. How has that worked out for us? The war in Iraq which this channel spent years and years pressing -- has that made us safer? Are we more safe because of the war in Iran?"

Welcome to Chapter 85, Finding Out, part of our FAFO series featuring leopards unexpectedly eating the faces of people who are too ignorant or stupid to vote in their own best interest. Next up, Chapter 86

1. Let's not say goodbye to Eric Schmitt just yet. His story is about more than a power-mad senator falling on his face. It's part of a larger story about the Republicans defending the leader of an insurrection against the United States.

As a transphobic male senator, there is nothing more important to me than protecting women's sports. Here's why it never occurred to me that Jack Smith, a man, would choose to attend a women's college basketball game. by Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO)

Just when you thought they couldn’t be any more incompetent…

This is an absolute disaster from a national security perspective. Obviously, a lot on F-35s is classified, but a weapons-bay door and a canopy with radar-absorbing material are some of the most sensitive. Hard to describe how bad this is.

I personally also blame every single person in American public life who played down the obvious danger continuously said the guardrails would hold + the institutions would push back + protect ordinary citizens!

Boykin: The Republicans control the entire government. They control the white house. They control the house. They control the senate. They control six of the nine seats on the supreme court. If you're not happy with the way the country is running America, blame the Republicans.

I’m looking forward to Canada banning the export to the U.S. of toilet and facial tissue. Then we will see how this shit sticks.

In addition to tariffs, the Trump administration is now banning imports from Canada, including dairy, alcohol, and motorcycles. Time after time, we’ve seen Trump’s trade policies raise prices for Americans. We need to end this trade war, not escalate it.

1. Mitch McConnell suffered a fall on June 14 and has not been in the Senate for two months. But he's continued to get paid his salary of 174K/year. Since he entered the Senate in 1985, McConnell has voted against creating or expanding medical leave — paid and unpaid — at least 23 times.

When Elon took over Twitter he told investors he'd triple ad revenue within 5 years. It's now been almost four years... and he's wiped out 2/3rds of the ad revenue (basically revealed in footnotes to SpaceX's earnings).

Really, the MAGA movement is running out of things to stand on. When you have nothing left to defend your record with, you start calling everyone else names in an attempt to make them look like the enemy.

MSNow makes breakthrough discovery: Trump lies. All the time. About everything.

MSNow brings on Scott MacFarlane to fact check Trump during his Oval Office remarks: This is not a popular fund, as the president claims. I've yet to find any Republican in congress who champions serves as a surrogate for the slush fund.

President Trump flew in Marine One over MetLife Stadium on Sunday ahead of his arrival to the World Cup final. It was the second time recently that he sought to seize the spotlight at a major sporting event.
