Another 1st for this putrid administration: blanket pardons for staffers.

Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1.bsky.social

Trump White House attorneys are evaluating whether to issue mass pardons to junior staffers — as Trump allies press the administration to protect lower-ranked officials from prosecution and other legal challenges, according to two sources familiar with the conversations.

We tried "everyone is entitled to an opinion" for three straight decades and all we have to show for it is four thousand cases of measles and a death cult running the government. It's time for people who don't know what they're talking about to shut the fuck up.

The priority seems to be making as many Americans as possible sick with preventable diseases, in the hopes that at least some will die.

David Ho@davidho.bsky.social

The CDC denied a request from California, Hawaiʻi, Oregon, and Washington to validate a high-volume measles test, citing “other priorities.” 🤨

So, while the oligarchy smashes and grabs everything that's not nailed down, we're supposed to be grateful we'll be allowed to sleep in our cars in sub-zero temps? Capitalism. YEAH.

Yesterday, our safe outdoor parking ordinance passed out of the Business, Housing, and Zoning Committee on a 6–1 vote. I’m proud to be authoring this alongside CM @aishaforward10.com, CM @aurinmpls.bsky.social, and CM @sorenwithward8.bsky.social. 1/ www.mprnews.org/story/2026/1...

This may be the most outrageous, disgusting, offensive thing Trump has ever said. If not, it is tied for the honor. Russia has been fine on Ukraine. It makes me want to puke.

Trump: "Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine."

They never tire of the "they were using the car as a weapon" defense. A baby should not be dead because a woman stole a pack of diapers. This is an absolute miscarriage of justice. And I am not surprised at all to see Rupublicans making excuses for shooting a baby - very on-brand.

JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday. Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.

In 2025, a majority of S&P 500 CEOs made more in 1 day than the median US worker made the entire year. Meanwhile, the median US worker would need to work 43,154 years to earn what Trump made in 2025 thanks to his crypto scams & various grifts. When I say the system is broken, this is what I mean.

I remediate these types of documents for a living and I can tell you that public input MATTERS. I have seen projects scrapped or reworked because of objections raised by the public, including inadequate review by agencies of impacts on air, water, infrastucture we ALL share. tinyurl.com/yf2nkc4d

Ossoff is THE MODEL for how every politician should be speaking about the assholes running our country. Speaking plainly and from the moral high ground. Not the mumbling bullshit and strongly worded letters of Schumer and Jeffries. THIS TIMES A THOUSAND.

Ossoff: "I suspect many of you are here today b/c you're so deeply troubled by the pain that many of our fellow human beings are enduring right now. The terror of a child watching ICE take away his mother. The despair of a cancer patient losing coverage mid-treatment... we're all in this together"

Update: without explanation, and after being suspended for more than an hour during peak mobilization time, Zuckerberg's Instagram restored the No Kings account but we still lack admin access. More to come. Rest assured we will not stop organizing against this regime and its collaborators.

Ezra Levin ❌👑@ezralevin.bsky.social

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

As I have said for years, the NYT is just Facebook. Same ratcheting effect pushing “moderates” right, same delegation of all editorial authority to fascists who game things by falsely claiming they’re being silenced. Same use of text content to support their actual monetization elsewhere.

Mark Jacob@markjacob.bsky.social

🧵🧵🧵 The NY Times posted a 15-minute video today in which I got to tell NYT what’s wrong with its coverage. They said they saw my critical posts on Bluesky and invited me to do a video with them to air my grievances. Weird, right? I didn’t hold back. I blasted their sanewashing of MAGA extremism.

There will be some sort of blue wave, but it seems like every other article is "Trump underwater" when I think the real barometer of change is wheter racism, bigotry, bro culture, AI worship, transphobia, islamaphonia, income inequality, etc are underwater. If not, nothing has really changed.

People! Attending a No Kings rally while funding the oligarchy, including paying for them to surveil you, is just stupid. If you don't want kings, stop giving asking the kings to mediate your life.

No matter where you shop, you're getting screwed by Amazon. Amazon has found a way to make everything you buy - at Target, at a mom-and-pop shop, even direct from the manufacturer - more expensive. And they're not the only one: Expedia's done the same thing, but for hotel rooms.
