I couldn’t agree more. Any chance of nationwide pro EU marches being organised @mikegalsworthy.bsky.social ? 🙂

Pro-Europeans really need to get their act together if they're going to sieze the opportunity which is being presented here. Press and broadcasters reverting right back to their previous position from 2016, with zero update.

Trump is the dump that Norway flushes away with style.

Left: President Trump insults Norway calling it a sh*thouse country Right: Visit Norway, the tourism board, trolls President Trump, displaying some of their best toilets on their Instagram 😅

This is great news and alternative power sources to nuclear and oil need to continue to develop and grow despite the kicking and screaming of the oil industry and others.

Jan Rosenow@janrosenow.bsky.social

Solar has overtaken nuclear. A decade ago it supplied 1% of the world's power. In 2025 it met three quarters of global demand growth. Almost nobody saw it coming. I spoke to Jocelyn Timperley at BBC Future about why. www.bbc.co.uk/future/artic...

Active support for FoM is a core requirement for me to even consider voting for a party. It’s time to put right the wrong that was done to so many people. Together is the way forward.

I voted and commented on this. Over to you all. 🙂

Mike Galsworthy@mikegalsworthy.bsky.social

I was actually the first to vote in this! 😂 I saw The Sun post the article on Threads… Why don’t you add your vote too? 👉👉 www.thesun.co.uk/news/4081059...

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

He just keeps on insisting on being a ‘Hunt’.

Sarah Murphy@13sarahmurphy.bsky.social

Doesn’t matter how you voted if you were front and centre in a Brexit government, actively overseeing the shrinking of our economy, our influence and our opportunities, while you rolled around in the trough. We’ll be disregarding everything you now say, thanks.

More to come on this, but those Labour MPs opposing talking about freedom of movement need to be aware that they are also condemning UK manufacturing to more barriers and probably further decline. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

theguardian.comCabinet ministers back Burnham’s call for debate on return to free movement with EUPM’s plea supported by Angela Rayner, Ed Miliband and business leaders, while some ‘red wall’ MPs voice concern

Tories are hypocrites. Always were, always will be.

I am so happy for the people of Serbia. 😀

The people of Serbia celebrating the defeat of the dictator who held full authoritarian control of their country for nearly 14 years. This is what democracy looks like.

Wait.... 29% of Reform voters would consider rejoining the EU... and 16% don't know And a mere 51% would vote to stay out. My giddy aunt - this is bonkers

Sunder Katwala (sundersays)@sundersays.bsky.social

Public opinion on future UK-EU relationship not yet certain of how far to go. On "join" a 46-29 plurality - with much debate to come, if govt proposed to go all the way in Starting points Labour 64-17 join LibDem 64-16 join Green 67-16 join Conservatives 39-46 stay out Reform 29-51 stay out

The far-right can be defeated but one crucial factor is motivating young people to vote. If young people had voted in the same numbers as older people the UK would still be in the EU.

Anne Applebaum@anneapplebaum.wsocial.eu

In one day, two politicians - Bolsonaro in Brazil and Vucic in Serbia - with ties to Trump have lost surprise elections thanks to high turnout. The rise of the international far-right is not inevitable.
