My second essay on how under Trump we’ve already gotten used to a level of fascism, authoritarianism, and corruption that would be unthinkable to us just years ago. Today: The corruption of the Justice Dept and *EIGHT* scandals on par with Watergate: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/trump-s-ty...
Abdul El-Sayed's full statement at the time of the synagogue attack is thoughtful and compassionate. Excerpting only"hurt people hurt people' is unfair and a misrepresentation. Here's part of it with a link: abdulforsenate.com/2026/03/vide...

NYT "Editor for Trust" Patrick Healy used creepy trans stalker Ben Ryan and his actual Nazi buddy source (Crémieux, alias of Jordan Lasker) for their infamous college rejection leak smear article during the election of Mayor Mamdani That used the Nazi's illegal hack of Columbia's admissions data:
Mamdani leak NYT editor: "launched term “Clinton Cackle” with an over 900-word account on her laugh "public editor criticized “jarring, sexualized top” in article titled “A Convention Speech, Not a Bodice Ripper.” "Healy’s widely-panned (and subsequently rewritten) report presented Trump speech

California Insurance Commissioner - good discussion of the state and the two candidates vying for the post: grist.org/politics/dec...
Whoever wins will face challenges - and remember insurance also covers health, auto, renters, etc - not just property.

One reason Prop. 38 in CA is SO bad is that it is written such that only one institute could get ~$4 billion in funding and that Institute is run by the person sponsoring the bill. Here are some of the constraints the Prop. puts on the institute to guarantee only one place gets the money:
The @sfchronicle.com headline says all you need to know: Prop 38 is one of the most noxious deposits on California’s political dung heap in years See www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/edit...

but there is no formal opposition to Prop 37 and the rest of the funding is just from realtors, contractors, and carpenters who would all stand to benefit from the building of the new houses (which are the only ones eligible for the first time home buyer program as part of this)

Comes with a second mortgage and new construction only, supported by builders, realtors, construction unions and you an see why. Would the 2nd mortgage at today's rates be part of the monthly payment? Yikes.
California's 2026 ballot is full of a bunch of controversial, consequential and otherwise attention-grabbing measures. But IMO, none are as plainly weird as Prop. 37. Here are some A's for all of your Q's: calmatters.org/politics/202...

This has been the goal from the start. THUS FAR it has not worked (which may be why they're paying propagandists). Indeed, it is notable that JD denied Trump committed fraud rather than pitch this propaganda. But we all need to make this clear that this Fraud Task Force is, itself, the fraud.
