VICTORY: A federal court just put the chainsaws down at East Potomac Park The plan was to turn a public park into a private tournament course for Trump & wealthy golfers. The trees stay while we fight it out in court @democracydefendersfund.org & partners are on the case 👇- TN

Black women in America are more than twice as likely as white women to have a stillbirth. Getting physicians to take their concerns seriously is one reason for this disparity, they say: “If you’re a Black woman, you get dismissed.” From the archives:

The Justice Department is threatening an antitrust lawsuit against the American Bar Association (which ED is trying to derecognize as an accreditor) over its requirement that most first-year law school classes be taught by full-time faculty. The handling attorney at DOJ is an adjunct at Catholic.

Proposing analog to,”racism can explain every weird thing in America” is, “women are busy working for money is the secret reason everything we miss about a society is now dying.”
This article offers half a dozen reasons why people have stopped having friends and family over, but it ignores the fact that the women who planned parties and kept homes tidy enough for unplanned guests are now working for pay full-time (usually more than 9-5). www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

Yet another nightmare proposal.
The Trump administration released a proposed rule that will have recent graduates pay a $70,000 application fee to participate in optional practical training, a popular work program for recent international graduates. The steep fees may keep many students away from OPT. https://chroni.cl/4zgMaxe
