Lula is to my left. Magyar is to my right. And I don’t care in the slightest, because they are the candidates of democracy against autocracy.

This is priceless. Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith. They found Jack Smith at the game… “Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”

and from the comments "These A.I. agents are not conscious entities with sentience, awareness or emotions with free will. They are just very powerful algorithms following extremely complicated binary pathways to accomplish instructions given by the labs."

I know it’s a long list, but this might be the dumbest thing Trump has ever tweeted. The Fed would love to be able to lower rates, but Trump’s policies (including the moronic one he announces here) are preventing that from happening.

With Musk, the average pay ratio was 5,387:1, according to the executive pay watch report released this week by the AFL-CIO. “In 2025, Elon Musk received the median Tesla worker’s pay every 4.23 seconds A majority of S&P 500 CEOs made more in one day than the median US worker made in one year.”

Musk’s $158.3bn pay deal was an outlier but came as the gap between CEO and worker pay continued to grow. Excluding Musk, last year the average ratio of CEO to worker pay for the top S&P 500 companies was 312 to 1, up from a 285:1 ratio in 2024.

There is no world in which this is okay.     Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving Trump’s Treasury Department while his own son was secretly working there as a political appointee and attorney. 🧵

one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

Folks, every single video you've seen on here (or anywhere online) of local law enforcement arresting ICE is fake. They're all AI-generated. They're not real. I know they may look real to you, but they're not. Please, for the love of all that's good, stop sharing these videos.

A man dressed as Batman attended a Santa Clara city council meeting in California, urging officials to stop cooperating with ICE, as immigration enforcement faces growing public backlash.

"..Democrats want federal agents to remove their masks and end roving immigration patrols, according to Senator Chuck Schumer, the Democratic leader. They also want agents to observe conventional law enforcement standards on use of force and begin carrying proper identification." Today's NYtimes
